- Most gamers have the same thought when they start playing a game they TRULY enjoy...which is to be a pro and make a living. The question is, why aren't they a pro yet? Or have they even started to ACTUALLY try?

Worth noting that there are great players in tier 2, 3 and even faceit who just never get picked up. The pros right now have literally played the game for the last 15-20 years and the next generation already has 15k+ hours at ages of 15-17. You can put in all the work in the world to become good, and you will, but damn getting picked up by a solid pro team is slim to none. This is true in all sports. Im not saying you cant do it, but its worth thinking about before dedicating all that time with a make it or break it mentality. Anyways , good luck

Yo dude wish u best of luck, I myself have been thinking about trying to go pro. I'm 22 so I definitely feel you on not knowing if were too old to try now lol. I'm Also lvl 6 and 13k elo by just playing for fun so I always felt like if I really tried & perfect my skills some success could be possible. Just sucks with how bad the reputation of NA CS is has never made me commit to the journey but seeing this video in my recommended inspires me to try now since we have similar circumstances. Will be looking forward to ur updates man keep pushing 🙏

You need to sacrifice time, if you afford to do that, there is a big chance you can go pro. Unfortunately i can't, but would had loved to when i was younger, but no one belived you can make a living out of thet, now is to late, no one to pay my bills so no time to practice and stuff

Mixed feelings about this. Feels weird to a player whos actually very good at cs to hear from a faceit lvl 6 player that he wants to become a professional with that roadmap putting in that little effort and expecting good results. Maybe its a fun experiment for a series but it feels like a joke to me. If youd take it seriously, "if" and even then you would most likely never be able to improve that much this rapidly. But thats what makes life beautiful: You dont know whats gonna happen in the future. If youre serious about this my apologies go follow your dream but let me tell you as someone whos played against actual pros lots of times: Only if youre experienced in something you begin to fathom how much you dont know yet and how much you can still learn. And in the most competetive shooter of all time, its a huge amount. Still if its your dream and it makes you happy please dont get put down by this I wish you all the best of luck and If you need some tips or tricks I would be happy to help you!

@@aaronbong about 7 yeara ago the mobile network speed was couple of megabits in the national park center next to the river.

i have heard some dudes say that faceit SEA nowadays have no real competition anymore. getting 3k elo is not a stretch.
maybe you should learn chinese and climb 5E, maybe you will get picked by a Chinese organization. the Asian scene outside of china and mongolia is just dead.
the only team outside of them is NKT and they are getting their asses handled.

Brotheraman! I like ur idea but u may have a problem... if u are from Malaysia its common to have desync/input lag cause by dirty electricity. I watched ur twitch vods and you might have it. You should try fixing it if you feel that ur game is "sluggish" and u getting ferarri peaked often. With this problem it will be hard to even get 3k elo on faceit and even harder to go pro!)

@@aaronbong it might sound weird but u can try something to make sure. If u have an iron(for clothes) u can connect it to the same power adapter or outlets where ur pc/monitor are connected; while the iron is working(heating up) try moving ur mouse in cs or even on desktop. if its faster/more precise u have the issue if nothing happens ur setup is good to go.

Pro players play 10-15 games a day. 3 games is too low for long-term. I recommend you to start at 4 and increase one every week because you'll be too exhausted at more than 6 right away
I completely agree with you, it's currently at 3 games because I'm still struggling to find the time to balance between making videos and learning utils and actually playing the game. I think after a while, I'll be playing more. I actually don't get exhausted playing 10 games, I have done it for 1 year straight already haha.

Was really good, i mean really good at cs 1.6 back in the day, but because i lacked the english knowledge never went pro, after that shit happened did not have a computer for 4 years, after i got one i got in to tf2 and gta and diversity games. But i am 100% sure if i coud play cs every day i woud have been goated
I feel you, but I believe if you are still passionate about it, you will find a way, the worst thing that could happen is that you didn't make it. But I'm sure it will not be a waste of time. Because you WILL learn something in the process. All I know is that I don't want to regret not trying because that's the worst feeling ever.

FACEIT level 8 is definitely possible with around 2K hours of gameplay or lesser, you can do it!
1k hours and always stuck at Gold 1-2, best rank gold 3 in mm. Faceit highest I believe 5? But atm 4. I just need a decent team :)@@aaronbong

It's misleading to say "you can go pro if you try hard enough". It's simply not true. People have skill ceilings. But I wish you all the luck.

your roadmap has a ton of useless marks to hit. the only 3 things that matter are the following: 1- faceit lvl 10 2- find a team 3- esea league. the most viable and secure way of going pro is rising through the divisions in the leagues in ESEA. everything else you have on there is 100% pointless (literally. it wont help you not even a little bit)
If I"m not mistaken, I have all 3 of that, and then find a team? I think that's quite necessary too haha
@@aaronbong i didnt inculde it because its obvious as you cant play without a team. but you have much leeway with that option as you can find a team now to grow better and later switch to a better one as your stats on esea improve, before either grinding with them or being good enough to interest higher ranked teams. Naturally it is a necessary step but anything else besides the 3 ive already named is not required and will likely be a waste of your time and efforts
