We knew for sure that, as the last CS:GO Major, Paris would be the end of something. But it still managed to surprise us.
The Paris Major showed us exactly how far Counter-Strike has come.
And just like the game itself, it wasn’t what we expected… but it was even better than we thought.

I miss my teammates. I always imagined myself on the stage fighting alongside them in a Major. Now married and a dad of two, I retired from playing.
Watching this video brings me to tears. CS:GO is just not a game, it is a part of my life. Thanks to all CS:GO community.

Dupreeh cemented himself as a top 5 player in csgo history. One of the best players in the game from release to end. 5 majors, always competitive, hltv top 20s, he’s just him.
Hilarious, S1mple, Zywoo, dev1ce, NiKo, ColdZera, get_right, Forest, KennyS, the list goes on, Dupreeh is maybe top 20

Even as to partner teams being irrelevant soon.
They'll never be "irrelevant", cuz those teams are the very reason why u mоrоn are still allowed to watch any CS events for free & why this Esport is still somewhat profitable (even tho barely at this point) overall.
No they won't, you're absolutely delusional. Any talent coming up the pipeline will be bought by those organizations and they will stay on top. That's how this works.

The Paris Blast Major is basically the underdog major, just about every high profile team barring Faze, Heroic, and Liquid all bombed out before the playoffs.

Jesus christ...Dimitri's narration is beyond human. Listened to the whole video while walking around a supermarket...doing my shopping. He somehow managed to keep me in goosebump territory the whole time!
Two incredible stories collide in grand finals, but in the end, "one shall stand. One shall fall." So happy to see every player on Vitality to get their sense of accomplishment from this win

Just looking at the size of the crowd from the first major to the last gives me chills....incredible video, incredible game, love watching esports unfold into such an incredibly popular spectacle since even before the early days of MLG. Not old enough to have watched Quake but, old enough to appreciate how far competitive gaming has come and how far it may yet still go. Thanks for the recap TSE, and hope you have content for years and years to come.

I absolutely fell in love with this GamerLegion lineup. Such good chemistry. I'm so sad we'll probably never get to see them play together again after that major final.

These documentary type videos always makes me feel the full spectrum of emotions. The intense gameplay is hype as fuck. The stories from all the teams and individual players gunning for glory is so inspiring. And witnessing players having all their hopes and dreams shattered is so heartbreaking. I don't even play CounterStrike LoL. But I like watching these insane events like CS:GO Major. I love how the crowd reacts to everything that happens during a match. I would love to attend an event in person like a Major one day.

The Paris Major was full of heartbreaks and surprises, seeing Navi and Faze fight a spot for a championship stage was full of mixed emotions for me because I wanted them both to qualify for the champions stage, but sadly only one will triumph and newcomers conquering the teams that we expect to qualify(G2, etc.) and win was something that the world is telling us now...
The end of an era indeed.

Sad that this released right after Dupreeh got kicked so we’ll never see this roster play again however still he is a legend with most majors attended and most won with 3 different line ups.

I have spent more time in CS than being with my family. I play CS since 1999. I used to play it in my birthday, christmass, summer. Thanks to this wonderful game since it came out made me another person different from my hood, even tho im not playing CS its like that favorite grandpa that i always feel supported. Enjoy life and youth guys !

As a Dane I love Vitality winning, 3/6 of their people were Danish (Including ZoniC the coach).
On a different note, as said in the video this major was such a clash between new vs old players, I haven't followed CS for a couple of years, and I could not recognize half the names in this Major, however, I knew everyone on Vitality so I could not be happier.

Finally dupreeh kissing zywoo on the forehead, one legend giving his thanks and blessing to a legend-in-the-making is so beautiful too. What a send off to GO, it was the end we all deserved.

- GamerLegion being the unexpected Grand Finalist
- G2, NaVi and many Top 10 teams eliminated in Group and Legends.
