Lawn Renovation RESULTS One Month Later + Bonus Footage

- The lawn renovation results are in and after one month, here is where things are at on this predominately Kentucky Bluegrass yard.
There's a few key areas that I want to focus on that are thin at this point, but for the most part the renovation is going as planned and considering our drought and hot temperatures, I am pleased with the progress. Tenacity has been taking care of most of the weed pressure and the diy sprinkler system is keeping up as well. I am looking forward to more progress this fall!

Additional pup footage is priceless! It's interesting to see your father in laws garden and compare it to how your wifes is setup, you can tell where she learned her tricks!

I could sit and listen to your bonus footage all day! I think if you’d of spoke for another minute I would of been in tears. It’s been an emotional 24 hours as we had to say “until we see each other again” to our neighbor of 12 years who moved away. She was like a second mom to my wife & I as well as a grandma to our 2 kids. We cried & cried when she drove away. So yeah....I’m pretty emotional right now. #RealMenCry

There will always be challenges. The key is to not quit at that point and just keep working hard.

In the areas you are overseeding, are you just putting the seed down without disturbing the soil and then covering with peat moss? I'm struggling with how much I try to disturb the soil to do this without damaging any grass plants that are surviving in those areas.

You should try dormant seeding. Im did it last year the day before our first snow and my lawn ticken this year. Im in zone 4b.
I did last year. Didn't have great results but we had a weird spring
@@ryanknorrlawncare We have more snow than you here I think. 4 meter of snow average during our winter. Our spring is short because most of the snow melt away by mid-may. I will still give it a try this year too.
Can you dormant seed and dormant fertilize together?

I had exactly the opposite to your project. I planted this weekend and since then every day we get extremly heavy rain for 20min a day. Hope the seed is staying in place somehow but it doesnt look to good.
