@victoryfirst2878 drones weren't taken over by the Chinese, they've always been produced in China, as the vast majority of manufacturing literally everything is. Of course that's just consumer drones. The DOD has been producing it's own drones for military use for literally 40 years.

What you see as 'the biggest change', isn't. Both are using 'high tech'. The American stuff is simply larger, more complex, but both are high tech.
The Ukranian Drone army are a very skillful and competent force. Their skill is something to be recognised and appreciated.

I don't read a lot about it, but my big concern would be jamming, vs. how flexible the drone communication system is in the field, for 1) changing frequency bands, and 2) using complex, jamming-resistant communication protocols. I'd worried that things are going great and then suddenly don't work anymore. I hope some people are really on top of this.
Its an eye opener, but a simple shotgun style point defense system against drones would be effective. Just not in this war 😂, im sure there are half a dozen fully automated boomsticks already being designed

Drones have been around since 1978, nothing new. The hobby has recently resurfaced with RC fanatics in recent times. Toy camera drones and UAV military systems are light years apart.
