MATERPIECE!! One of my favorite master Hitchcock movies. Thanks Warner and MGM
. North by Northwest is another one of my "comfort food" movies.
The chemistry between Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint is sharp and satisfying all the way through,
with a terrific supporting cast. Jessie Royce Landis is always enjoyable as Cary Grant's mother.
The scenes showing people from a high vantage point are always intriguing to watch. Alfred Hitchcock always knew how to attract and hold a person's attention.
Never noticed before the song that is playing as Thornhill walks into the Plaza. "It's a Most Unusual Day.". It certainly was.

This dazzling movie masterpiece is one of my ten most favorite color films ever made, sixth place actually as of now and thats saying a helluva lot cuz ive seen several thousand.

@@Al_Asadi through Turner Entertainment. Turner brought the the pre 86 MGM Titles, RKO Pictures library and Warner Bros. Titles that was under United Artists . When TimeWarner purchased Turner Ent. , it was ultimately merged to WB Library. In other words the movie is co owned by Turrner
