The Importance of a Coaching Philosophy

Do you have a coaching philosophy? Is it written down?
A philosophy gives you a root and process to rely on when things get hard. As a coach, you NEED your philosophy written down, reviewed, and added to on a daily basis. If you do not have it written down, you are failing your players.

I decided to coach my daughters rec little league softball team because her 1st year was a disaster coach wise and I didn't want to deal with that again or have her experience that again. I have played and both my daughters have played. I have no idea how to coach but I don't want to wing it so I am researching how to coach and found this video.
