I used to be a manager under Coach Meyer during the 2014-2015 National Championship year & I loved watching this interview. Coach Meyer is a great leader who motivates and cultivates a high standard of excellence. Love what you are doing Lewis. Keep up the great interviews and bringing out the best in everyone.
JM....Seriously ? You were there and couldn't see it ? The TRUTH was right in front of you and YOU missed it ? How is that even possible ? LOL.
UM would have played Braxton Miller all year in 2014, if he had been healthy. With BM injured, UM was going to play JT Barrett all year. And JT couldn't beat Virginia Tech. He couldn't beat Penn State in regulation. Both teams were 7 - 6. Seriously JM ? So after JT broke his ankle Oscar Meyer was FORCED TO PLAY THE ONLY QB HE NEVER WANTED ON THE FIELD. And that QB was the ONLY QB we had that could win the National Championship. And HE DID. Meyer cultivated NOTHING. Didn't recruit him. Didn't play him. Though he did bench him twice, even though the kid was Undefeated with a Big Ten game MVP to his name. Beat BAMA in the CFP. Then beat THE DUCKS for the NATTY.
Ok.....Ok.....but after you quit the manager gig...…...you did watch Urban squander the 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons.....right ?
Did you watch the Clemson game ? The Oklahoma game ? The game vs TTUN this past year ? UM was going to let us LOSE to TTUN......but low and behold, another injury.....allowed a QB Urban NEVER VOLITIONAL chose to play......to enter the game and save the day. Good job OSCAR. LMAO.

I’m a diehard Wisconsin badger fan and I hate losing to Urban Meyer but I just finished his book and what a eye opening experience. There’s a reason he’s a gold standard in coaching.

I originally watch this video because I wanted to see what kind of head coach would be suited for the Detroit Lions vacancy job at that position. Chris Spielman is our advisor and hearing that Urban Meyer is his Bible study prayer partner even more makes me excited about the possibility that the Lions could end up hiring him as our new head coach. Translation, Chris Spielman and Urban Meyer make a great combination.

TRUST and RESPECT and DREAMS are great......but these guys stray and stay away from the " TRUTH " .
Urban Meyer didn't win a thing with HIS PHILOSOPHY and ramblings. Sad that Lewis keeps passing it on when there's NO LINKING IT TO WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
These clichés and trite formulas had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
I know what I say sounds harsh.......usually, the truth and reality are that way.
Urban makes what 5 - 10 million dollars a year ? His players, who he calls family, get what......CTE ?
Does Urban or OSU put money in a trust for them ? It's SLAVERY Raven. Why can't grown men who MAKE the product....share in the bounty of what they create ? Instead they get physically injured and maimed and don't even get a FAIR REWARD for the risks they take. Please wake up ! This current state of affairs is TOTALLY WRONG !
But if Urban can make a few videos that make YOU feel good, he'll keep working the system, I promise you.
In 2014.....OSU won a NATTY with their 3rd string QB. He was the only guy Urban didn't even want on the field.
The next year......as soon as UM could, he benched the kid. But Urban Meyer's choice at QB soon got a DUI. Guess who he called to come get him/support him (not Urban)......this same kid had to play QB while the other kid was suspended. The kid Urban didn't like had to come off the bench....and YES => HE WON AGAIN. Then he was benched again. Urban's CHOICE. And OSU lost again. The kid Urban didn't like/didn't chose.....went undefeated at OSU (3 seasons).....He won a Big Ten Title win and was the MVP, then he won his CFP game vs BAMA.......then he won the NATTY........and even though he wasn't Coach Urban's volitional choice......he won IN SPITE of U. MEYER.
W/O Cardale Jones, OSU would have been sitting at home during the CFP and NC game. That is WHAT Urban's philosophy would have netted OSU.....Sitting Home. Then the video above doesn't work so well, does it. You can drink the Kool -Aid and feel all warm and fuzzy if you want to Raven (most do)....or you can OPEN YOUR EYES TO.......REALITY. Lewis and Urban easily crafted a whole different spin on what actually happened......one that doesn't even resemble reality ! And every day they ask....." Kool-Aid Anyone ? ". And most come and drink.
