I’ve often wondered what made great leaders. The best answer I’ve found is that great leaders can pull their teammates through the barriers of selfishness, laziness and fatigue.

Urban's reputation is tarnished after he emploded in the NFL. I wish he would have stayed in college football. He is still a damn good coach. I am sure a Power 5 school will try to hire him in the next coaching cycle next year.
I don’t think so man. I’m a Columbus native and Urban LOVES Ohio State. He could’ve stayed as long as he wanted. He genuinely quit coaching Bc of how the stress effected his health. He looks way happier and healthier now that he’s still very involved with college football yet without the stress of HAVING to win at that level. Also a lot of people don’t know this, but Urban teaches a leadership class at Ohio State!

LMAO. Biggest bunch of BS I've heard in a long time. Urban Meyer was CLUELESS at Ohio State. He set up a culture of underachieving and failure. He was out coached the majority of games as Head Coach at OSU. But thankfully the man was the BEST RECRUITER IN FBS ! Elite talent wins a lot of games, even if your Head Coach => IS totally DAFT ! This man believed his incomprehensible football philosophy and bag of clichés would work. It didn't. It failed. Miserably. This man started and played WR/TE/RB/HB's disguised as QB and that led to the worst most embarrassing failures I've ever witnessed. This man BENCHED his undefeated NATTY WINNING QB to re-insert a QB (his favorite) who lacked the Skill Set needed to elevate our team to an elite level. Try explaining that bunch of CRAP ! The only times we WERE TRULY GREAT during his tenure => happened IN SPITE OF URBAN MEYER. His first two seasons at OSU => he LOST both post season games => they were the ONLY Post Season games we played. They were also the only games we played his first two years against like/comparable competition. He was such a great coach => that OSU SAT HOME watching the CFP's in 2015, 2017 and 2018. He didn't lead OSU to win our division of the Big Ten in 2016 but we were selected to the CFP's anyway. Our Offense was so pathetic we couldn't even score. We LOST 31 - 0. That's the Urban Meyer I remember. The COWARD gave up in THE GAME vs TTUN => in 2017. Thank you DWAYNE HASKINS/R DAY/K WILSON He couldn't coach us well enough to beat Virginia Tech in 2014. He LOST 55 - 24 to an unranked Iowa team in 2017. He LOST 49 - 20 to an unranked Purdue team in 2018. The REAL ASS KICKER and what should have clued you in (shown Urban to be a FRAUD) is Meyer's 3rd string QB's ! He NEVER wanted Cardale Jones on the field => Tom Herman and Cardale Jones won the NATTY. Not Urban Meyer. He NEVER wanted Joe Burrow on the Field => Joe Brady and Joe Burrow won the NATTY. Not Urban Meyer. There's MUCH - MUCH MORE => but with all of this => How could you have miss it ? How did YOU not SEE IT ? Get Woke to what really happened ! You lost complete credibility when you said he lost his first post season in his first year. Ohio State wasn’t eligible for the post season his first year. They went 12-0 and would’ve played Notre Dame in the National Championship... they absolutely would’ve won that game. If you’re going to try and make an argument of some sort, have your facts together first smdh
