  • In this video we will talk about how to find yourself from the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. Friedrich Nietzsche was one of the biggest precursors of existentialism. According to him, finding yourself is one of the most fundamental endeavors of your life.
So with that in mind, here are four steps, inspired by the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, which you can take from, to help you get closer to finding yourself and becoming who you truly want to become -
    01. Don’t follow the herd mentality
    02. Embrace the difficulty of self-discovery
    03. Say yes to what gives you meaning
    04. Find your true values
We hope you enjoyed watching the video and hope this video helps you get closer to finding yourself and becoming who you truly want to become.
Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher, poet, essayist, and cultural critic. He is considered to be one of the most daring and greatest thinkers of all time. His writings on truth, morality, language, aesthetics, cultural theory, history, nihilism, power, consciousness, and the meaning of existence have exerted an enormous influence on Western philosophy and intellectual history. He was one of the biggest precursors of existentialism, which emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent, determining their own development through acts of will. By his famous words “God is dead!”, Nietzsche moved the focus of philosophy from metaphysics to the material world and to the individual as a responsible person for his own life. Friedrich Nietzsche wrote several books like The Birth of a Tragedy, Human, All Too Human, The Dawn, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Beyond Good and Evil, Twilight of the Idols, The Will to Power, The Antichrist, and many more. His teachings have shaped the lives of many people; from psychologists to poets, dancers to social revolutionaries.

You have the I and the myself. And the myself is beeing created by everything around you what you then on terms identify with the I or me. So to be or not to be. Is not to be yourself by not making it personal emotional identification. When the sun goes down you dont want it to go down because you identify good emotions on it just going down. If you see it a it will go down you dont identify but really can see the beauty of it. So stop trying to be. Just observe and investigate without beeing de yourself only then I think you can really control the balance

"Self-discipline" is a term one must be very careful about. If it is an imposed "value" from our past, it can be highly destructive, turning life into a race on a hamster wheel, a race we can only lose. It can also carry with it much shame from our past, as, should we fail at something, it must be because we were not sufficiently self-disciplined. It can then become a rationale for seeking solace in self-destructive behaviour, the very opposite of self-disciplined behaviour. I think the focus needs to be on a truly healthy and positive sense of self-love. With that, self-discipline can become a powerful tool for helping us to achieve what we decide we want for ourselves, to become the better person we need to be.

Every individual who truly believes to be free is in rebellion. Of course you get superficial individuality this in no way is a refutation of Nietzsche's teachings but rather an affirmation of it. We can never judge someones true internal values and intentions and if you know yourself who the fuck honestly cares because it's about the self not the herd and in that is where the truth is about the self. The knowing as opposed to the perception of others.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that if you succeed then they think it reflects poorly on them. They would have to question who they are and what they are doing, they would also feel that others would see them as failures, so its easier to pull or nock you down than to face themselves and their choices, it says more about them than you. Its funny because on other hand if they do better than you I'm sure they are not trying to pull you up, instead they use their better position to feel superior to you, to boost their ego. This is because inside they have little or no self worth, only the worth of position, and again it says more about them than you. The best thing is to get away from those people, they are in constant unnecessary competition with you and will work to undermine and sabotage your accomplishments, which will result in mostly negative results. When you have found yourself and are confident in yourself, you will not look to pull others down or be more successful than others to have self worth. You will be glad for your friends who do better, and help pull up your friends who are not doing well, and they would do the same for you. In this kind of relationship with the people around you it would lift you all up, it would be a group of people you would cherish and who would cherish you the same, and in that you would be a very lucky person indeed.

It's unfortunately the pandemic of Jealousy and envy. I've only realized in the past 2 years how often I have been the unknowing victim of people's Jealousy. Thinking back to people's reactions and words and lack of enc or celebration regarding things I was excited about or simply even contemplating, I realize that this was their own jealousy at play but because I wasn't aware of it at the time, I let their behaviour get to me and diminish my own celebrations or not even try to go bigger and believe in myself to reach the huge untapped potential I know I have. It's actually really insidious and still makes me very sad that I allowed them to impact me this way. Even sadder it's often the people closest to you who do it. I find strangers or casual acquaintances are far more encouraging so now I just share with them, ie mainly strangers on the internet, rather than people I know. I'm protecting my spirit from jealous energy now.

love it!! for the road that leads to life is narrow.... Nietzche was a good christian after all, yet he may not have know it, since he was honest enough to say that the only true christian was the one who died at the cross

@@dunyahali8926 it is hard to say, the short answer may be "yes", what I get from him is that he denounced religious hypocrisy. He had a deep religious background which is very hard to remove from anyone's life. For example, he said that the only true christian was the one who died on the cross. In my opinion he was referring to Christ as the only true christian, and the rest who practice Christianity as false christians because they did not live to the standard of Christ. To me that is profound teaching/preaching and makes me search deep into my heart/soul.
Now, I don't believe that he was against any particular religion because it seems that he took shots at different believes, in my opinion.
I don't take his reproaches as mocking any particular religion but in general as a challenge to take a deep look as to what we believe.
I would have to read all of his work and to give you my honest opinion, but then I would be giving you my opinion as I see it through my eyes.

I hear that and I don't want to downplay what your saying at all, but if u check some of the Eastern mysticism like the yogic, Buddhist, Hindu and taoist traditions there a little bit the opposite. They believe the creation of personality or the "self" is an identity or a role thats essentially based on the self-preservation process or what's " acceptable" in order to make our way in the world. And the purpose of different types of meditation and yoga methods is to strip that away and really find your real conscious self, so I hope you don't take it personal or anything but i feel that since we're on here were probably looking for the same thing, but anyways cheers all the best!!!

My reaction to the philosopher's idea is to say he is right and he is wrong. It is both. It is about finding ourselves and creating ourselves. In the process, if done properly, an adept person does both simultaneously and the knowledge of self gained through earnest seeking strengthens their ability to create. This has been my experience and my idea.
