Yes, CS is definitely a wonderful career choice , knowledge wise they r just too good , the best at their subjects , my brother as a CS earned more than 10.5 lakhs as a fresher , he did his Articleship at reliance and he told me that if you have skills , you will surely get rewarding salaries 😁

My suggestion as a qualified CS working at a listed company having a salary of more than 10L as a fresher :
Blindly go for it if you like Laws with an interest towards the Commerce side of things. You surely won’t regret, if you’re good at something, you’ll surely kill it. There is really a lot of scope!

You can do both. Many people go for an MBA after CS.

Well said. CS is the best if all stakeholders realise their importance. It is a multi faceted profession but poorly recognised in India
Please make a full video on the basis of preparation and getting material or book and also leaning through online coaching to pass CS exam.
Actually I am trying to say that "give a proper guidance to get material, coaching, online courses, books and all so that any one can prepare from own home town."

You missed on several important points.CS is KMP, training and challenges too.
Nicely Explained but you have missed the corresponding exemption available if the person is a qualified CMA from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Having passed the papers of all the 3 course I must say some attempt the papers of one is easy in comparison to the other and the other attempt the other one is tougher so all the 3 institutes balance the level of paper amongst themselves.
Now coming on to the topic of scope you need to have any one of the 3 professional course to get to the top of an organization its all a myth that anyone of the course is better than the other it all depends upon your interest and aptitude in any field that how much you earn
I have personally seen CA' s earn lacks per month and struggling for job as well and the same goes with CMA and CS I have seen CMA's earn lakhs p.m and complaining about lack of opportunity as well and the same goes with CS some in my knowledge are CA CS both but practice CS and the level of income is such that they own a Porsche and Mercedes and what not but we need to understand they all are very fine professionals

@@Strangercommenter Yaaa definitely, you don't have much of accounts in CS. It is Law that you will be mostly studying.
I dont know why but CS is looked upon as a second option (I.e. if you are not able to clear your CA then you go for CS) CA and CS are one of the best professions across the world please Choose wisely and aim at one thing dont consider something good as your second opinion :)

I am 37 years married and have a son.
I used to run my own classes( shut down during pendamic) from 11 to ty I used to teach account . in 2011 i completed cs executive couldn't go ahead due to financial issues and ageing parents.
Sir now I have started studying for cs professional and meanwhile I am done with llb and m.com
I need ur advise for few issues.
1) will their be any difficulty in getting a job due to age.
2) Due to late start I want it to ensure that I do something extra course then what it should be solicitor or MBA in law from nmims or both.
3) money is not an issue
4) i am studying for a rank in cs professional.
5) I wants to pursue my career in law but not in compliance.
6) in 2009 I cleared 2 papers of icwa I am thinking to clear remaining parts of inter atleast as i will have 4 papers exempt besides 2 papers so I have only 2 papers to give to clear CWA inter just a cake walk for me.

3 years Articleship in CA is mandatory, you can claim exemption from CS Management Training if you are into 2 years of continuous CA practice (after qualifying CA) but not vice versa...

Being a graduate you can apply for intermediate through direct entry scheme at ICAIs website, once done you have to complete ITT and Orientation course and start 3 years of articleship under a practicing CA (completing 9 months articleship is mandatory to appear for Intermediate)...

If you good at accounting and maths you go CA if you good at economics, and business law ,and basics accounts and company law you go to CS .CA is tough if you weak at accounting and maths

@@educationforlife4701 scope is nothing what we need to create is ourself in cma you can learn about tax consultant,tax filing , account so if study well and help small business man to fill their tax return you earn money and additional you can also study insurance and be insurance agent you can get insurance comission on bikes ,cars vehicles etc in this way you can earn lot. cs also good to study but if cma and cs is good what you study is not important vision is only important all the best for your studies ask many people about their options on cma and cs because you can more knowledge when speaking with lot then simply studying online knowledge is vast get from many people make you knowledge great ask many others

You will have to apply at different places.
There is a lot of demand for the CS but supply is less. A CS can be appointed or can practice if he/she is a member of the ICSI

Company Secretary course duration is of 3 years, which is parallel to a bachelor's degree. The first level of the Company Secretary course, i.e., the foundation program is 8 months long.
CS course is now itself considered as a post graduate degree
So complete your bcom along with cseet and executive and professional exams

To Complete the Course, it takes minimum 3 years including training period.
The Gap between one level and other level is 8 months

A Company Secretary is the legal custodian of an organization.
You can either do your MBA from a reputed B School or go for the CS program.
You can go for both if your MBA is distant one.
U forgot to talk about the staggering low passing percentage of the CS course , its very frightening to see that only 3 or 5 or 8 out of every 100 students are able to pass this exams every attempt 😦

Means it is done from some institute or online
CS exams are conducted by ICSI. You have to register yourself on the website , however the exams are conducted offline in the exam center chosen by you (while filling in the registration details ).You have to register yourself for CSEET (the entrance exam for CS) on ICSI's website with 1000Rs fee .On the website ,you will get the study materials (in pdf form) for each subjects...so you just have to study from the Reading Material and watch the free lectures( if you need ) available here on CZcams , some of my favourite channels were cscartindia, yesacademy and csexamsquad. I'll suggest you to look up for "CSEET Prospectus" available on the website to get a better understanding.

dont try to Bluff young students . Salaries of Fresher Company secretary are as low as they can be in comparison to hard work . Overall 10% passing percentange, 21 months of training , clearing overall 20 hard subjects and then you are being offered a mere salary of 20k. and that too with very limited jobs. Institute has failed in maintaining the dignity of members.
