    Being in CS professional(finals),by seeing this i can only say one thing.CS is not a joke and knowledge you get thorughout your course is more than anything.If you will talk about exemption it's only in executive level that is for only one subject and it will be removed from the next coming attempts.You will have a deep knowledge in not only co.law but in fema sebi rbi regulation s and what not.

    In short.... They couldn't do it.. So they're telling you to limit yourself. Take advice from those who have become CS. Only they can tell you the difference of what it likes to have such a detailed knowledge of Corporate Law. Never take advice from drop outs who couldn't do it. As they specifically said... Humse nahi ho paya ✌️

    His explanation is "contradictory"...
    See.. it's easy.. a company recruits CS for all the legal and secretarial compliances which only a "CS" can do... Offcourse they also require legal assistance also so they prefer CS + LLB candidates.
    No matter how talented a corporate lawyer (member of bar council) is. He cannot fulfill the need of a CS in any manner.
    A CS checks that all the compliances are in standards or not.. in order to avoid the situation of getting a company in litigation.
    Same way, once a Company goes into Litigation then only an Advocate (member of bar council) can represent the case of that company before court and reveive it from all cumbersome.
    Therefore both professionals are two sides of a same coin.. each having its own significance..
    "Show of Domination" of one profession over other is a blunder and stupidity and I don't think any learned professional will ever do it.
    They were not able to do it so saying "Angoor Khatte Hai" !!

    I agree that corporate lawyer need not to be a company secretary but the perception about CS Course is misunderstood by majority people that it is theoretical. If the CS course is undertaken under correct guidance it is definitely can be completed on time. It is a myth that CS course is difficult. The role of CS is multi facet hence one should not opt the course considering its theoretical course, it is a blend of Law, Theory and Practical. Even practical subjects knowledge is important and one should must have. It is a misconception that law is theory hence do not misunderstand law as theory. Even law subjects have practical questions and also involves numerical calculation in practical questions. A CS work profile needs to do much more beyond the compliances and filing the forms. Student must also note that clearing exam is not the only objective, one should keep in mind to put the knowledge to practice once become professional and not limited to clearing examination. It matters while you ask for opinion as person would suggest on his own experience. The CS course requires hard work as well as smart work as syllabus is quiet vast and diversified.

    Its disappointing to see law students are mostly interested as being corporate lawyer, rather than taking interest in being constitutional expert...money is everyone behind but not everybody is gonna get it , but constitutional expertise if targeted , then eventually money will come but with huge longlasting respect and fame... People like Harish salve and Former attorney general soli sorabjee or justice chandrachud are not earning less but surely their name and respect with it is going to last more than others

      See bro everyone wants a good salaried job... In litigation mostly people with their father's as big lawyers are finding it easy whereas frist generation people who slog and slog still can't make it so where's the justice? Litigation is purely based on luck and there is no stability as to when you become succesful or not, from a general students perspective he would like to work a job that provides stability to his life.

    • @sayantandey8874
      @sayantandey8874 Před 4 lety +8

      And the lawyers you have talked about are far and few who by dint of hard work and bit of luck made that big of a client base to fetch rewards in practice... In hind sight you will see many lawyers in litigation filing affidavits and making extremely low money.... Tell me who wants a gamble like that?

      It seems, CS's requirement in company has become mandatory for fulfilling compliance (ROC etc.) necessity..On the other, Lawyers contribute to legal document preparation as well as offering input while litigation is there.. Corporate world, in order to minimise expenses, try to have CS+LLb..But it has been observed, mere passing out LLB by CS does not automatically give edge on litigation and (pure )legal activities.. although the same can be acquired with relevant experience.
