According to me, CS and Law is a great combination. Before writing let me spilit up the aspects and scopes of Employment and practice in both areas.
LLB course deals with wide areas of law, so the candidate can choose their areas of specialisation in civil, criminal, corporate laws. To be a expert it takes time due to different standards in legal education in the country. Moreover even in the field of law, corporate lawyers are seen sophisticated.
CS is considered to be expert in corporate laws and compliance, hence they can represent their clients before the Tribunals, here CS in practice has limitation as they cannot go beyond tribunals, that is where the role of corporate lawyer begins, like.. to appear before high courts and supreme court.
For employment purpose CS has more opportunities in corporates than lawyers, as lawyers who are specialised in a particular sector can only get lucrative career in companies. Adding CS is absolutely creates great value.
Finally cs and both complementing each other. When you do law you always end up in certain field of specialisation. That may be a corporate law or criminal law or civil law, but CS is always expert in corporate law. Further as advocate needs wide range of vast knowledge, doing CS weather it is for employment purpose or otherwise it adds great value to a lawyer.
As economy is growing there will never be any decrease in CS scope and corporate lawyer. Hence pls pursue your call in doing CS or law or both.
Last but not least knowledge is Power whoever it may be. All the professions have their Worst and best people. Best of luck.

All the CS are angry hahahaha. All lawyers are not great ,all CS are not great. In a profession ultimately hardwork and patience is required. There are poor lawyers and poor CS -the reason both of them are professions and in a proffession and individual can succed with his own hardwork and knowledge

Why is everyone so triggered? Do u all have some comprehension problems? He never belittled CS in the video. He's completely right. All that he's meant all throughout the video is that if you're passionate for cs you can be a great cs. That's it. If you are lawyer, and doing cs just for a resume boost and not to be a cs, you were passionate about law, don't expect much becausw the markets have changed. You gotta be a great lawyer to get a job which requires core legal skills. You gotta be a great cs to get a job that requires you to deal with compliances.

Sir I am a CS LLB. I would like to say that CS LLB is deadly combination in legal field.
And you can't compare 2 Professional courses in such a way.One thing just compare the results of these courses.
So many llb graduates are their who are not even getting a job of 10k rs pm. But I have never seen a CS who is not getting a Job.
I have a huge respect for LLB also. But ground reality is that doing LLB from NLU level colleges really matters but what about other colleges.

It's totally upto how you wanna listen to it, there are many people who are talking in pros and cons regarding the course, but as it happens in many streams if you work hard , and applying your knowledge properly there would be zillions of oppertunity, as they say all engineers aren't employed( with respect) , the thing is people look for practical approval for any jobs which WILL differ person to person, but , if u'll look at the grassroots the main criteria which makes any profession sounds interesting would be how rightly/ practically you see it's growth and the points I said above.
Also regarding this course companies act is the mainstream but there are many subject as well which will give an edge, and if u wanna know what those subjects would be, then learning that particular subject and seeing it's market value in present and future would help you to understand its sustainability.
Hope you will have lil peace after this 🌸

Mr Ramanuj a person with lack of knowledge 🙏 !! I am very much sure you must be Law graduate and have very very limited knowledge !! There is No Comparision of LLB with CS both have different perspectives !! Mr Ramanuj and dear law fraternity first prove your self in Corporate and compare your knowledge with a qualified CS then do comparison with Company Secretaries !! See " guru bhai se ladna toh guru bhai banke lekin guru bhai ek hi hai " 😎🙏

Mr. Ramanuj Mukherjee has already proved himself, you have no idea about the hard work and intelligence of the person you are talking about. He was an associate in 'Trilegal' which is considered to be the best law firm in the country. And at present he is running Lawsikho.com and thousands and thousands of law students consider his advice as mentorship.

Don't think llb is anyday better than cs I believe u r unaware of the progress happening in cs
Sir who the hell told u cs has no value
Or it is not as lucrative as llb
V study ur whole syllabus in a single book
V can fight cases for the company in NCLT
And first the case goes to NCLT
then NCLAT then may be to Supreme Courts
Nobody knows corporate law better than company secretary I can challenge u 4 this

It seems, lawyers, are intended to grow up for handling litigation aspect keeping in view the core sector to which they are being offered the role to plau..But they can not necessarily farewell in corporate, if bear less interest in dealing with commercial & incidental aspects... Similarly, mere control on commercial overview by CS do not necessarily, guarantee of attaining skill of lawyers as aforesaid, to lead from the front always...

@@punittiwari212 Yes, it is also true, as long as lawyer's entry to the corporate is not getting any mandatory/statutory backing (like CS)..the discussion on comparison would continue to exist, although both can independently stand on own merit..
