  • We made it to the 7’s! I think this might be a record for a 6MT GTI on 93 octane.
Little bit of breaking up at the top of 3rd, going to diagnose and address that and come back better soon with better tires.
Got Cobb no lift shift working on this run but could still improve my shift time.
Overall I did not expect this car to be this quick and I’m more than happy.
    Mods are as follows:
    2017 MK7 GTI PP 6MT
    EQT Vortex Hybrid Turbo
    EQT High Flow Discharge Kit

    Autotech HPFP Internals

    Euro Block Off Plate
    ECS Tuning Air Inlet Scoops
    CTS Turbo Inlet Pipe
    CTS Catless Downpipe
    AWE Track Exhaust

Very nice. I never have a good DA in Phoenix but I got 11.8 out of my stock C5Z lol. I plan on adding supercharger in the future and leaving everything else stock which should put it well into the 7s I imagine, with ~550 wheel and 3,100 lbs. I decided to buy a nice one-owner C4 to cruise around in just recently so obviously going fast isn't up there on the priority list but I will get to it one day!

Moving pretty good, a little upward slope too. This would give a stock hellcat trouble.

@Andrew - how is the stock LPFP holding up beyond 29psi of boost? I didn’t see an upgraded LPFP in your mod list.
I’m considering a Vortex standard with HPFP and 28-29psi on stock sensors. Will include a LP fuel sensor to monitor my stock LPFP’s duty and flow.

I’m 32-33 psi, vortex standard and HPFP only. My LPFP is doing great. Your tuner will tune for it and it will be fine. As long as you’re staying 91-93 octane

Hellcats run mid 7s to low 8s this is really impressive. I’m assuming standard vortex w hpfp and dsg? Eqt?
