It's funny when you slow down from over 200, to around 160, and thanks to the difference it feels like a normal speed as if you were riding around 90-100.
I've only mamaged to get mine to 240-ish kph due to it being windy and rather busy on the road. And believe me, anything above 150-160 kph will be a struggle to hold on to the bike. Much more intense sensation of speed then my old zx636 (which i managed to get close to 275kph). Oh, and mine is a green '08 model with double Akrapovic, performance air filter, Dynojet tuning, Hyperpro suspension and a shitload of aesthetic mods.

I have an XJ6F (FZ6R) and I would NEVER give up on full fairing. I rode a CB650F and it feels like hell over 90mph, while I can go over 130mph with the FZ6R no problem at all.

If its a z750 then it has to be a later model than the 2007 cause the 07 750 did not have integrated turn signals. Also the speedo was humped on the headlight fairing. Also the 750 was only offered that year in silver trim. This one has black trim. Pretty sure this is a 1000.

Aber auch ein paar mm weniger Reifenprofil oder unterschiedlicher Reifendruck wirken sich auf die Anzeige der Geschwindigkeit aus. Um das zu fixen gibts z.B. Geräte wie den SpeedoHealer. Und selbstverständlich kommts auch auf den Fahrer an: Gewicht, Sitzpositon (Luftwiderstand) und die Umgebung (Gegenwind/Rückenwind).

Ok Z1000 is a naked bike AKA streetfighter, it is made to have fun cos of all the torq it has allover the tacho, it is nimble as f@. So if you want speed then dont get a naked bike, get a crotchrocket like a H2r, lol that thing if propper tuned will go 400kph. But then again what can you do with 400kph or even better ...Where in gods name will you be able to get at that speed lolmao peace have fun and B safe

Man this is disappointing I was thinking of buying one but 250 top speed for a 1000 and ever slow acceleration. Nice touring bike but i thought it would have more jam!
The Engine of the ZX10R makes about 2500 more rpm at max, has far more hp and additional the Z1000 is a naked bike and does not have the good aerodynamics of the ZX10.

My Z1000 looks a little a z750 too, cose is a little tuned ( front fearing and tail replaced etc) but is still a z1000 :))
