  • As the titler says I am nboxing the Smith and Wesson M & P 15-22 MOE Sport .22 Calibre AR15 rifle. Apologies again for the slightly blurry footage (seems I need a new camera). If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I concur that the S&W M&P is a very good semi-auto .22, i had one and i put circa 5000 Blazer HV rounds through it and it went bang and spit every one out without failure.
The reason i chopped it in for a Tipmann M4 Elite was the M4 is of metal construction (receiver and hand guard) and therefore has more of a AR 15 5.56 feel to it.
Also the Tipmann has a working forward assist (although not needed on a rimfire) but adds to the overall authenticity of the centre fire version.
    A very informative video mate.

although I have a full 556/223 Springfield Saint AR I just bought the exact same rifle you have there. Same set up and color. I recently added a red dot optic to it. I bought one for my son over the holidays and found ti a blast to shoot and much less expensive ammo than my 223! and it works just like my 223! nice guns!!

      I agree! I also have a .223 M4, but the M & P 15-22 is a fantastic weapon in it's own right!

      Hi Josh,
It depends on the type of shooting you want to do. If it is target shooting then talk to your local club, there will be lots of experience and advice there (some opinions too but you can take it or leave it) then dont be afraid to ask for everything you would like/can justify on your licence. Lots of people go for bare minimum but ultimately so long as you have justification then you can have what you want and often the Firearms Licencing Officer will be fine with this. I went for 5 firearms on my first licence and as I could justify each one I was given all. Same goes for ammunition quantities. Even the legislation guidance says the number of Firearms held is irrelevant so long as there is justification for each one! Hope that helps :)
