I just added a Leupold scope to mine. Shooting 200 yards. What a smooth shooter!
- Iâve only shot CCI AR Tactical or Mini-Mags through mine so far. Well over a 1000 rounds and not a single malfunction of any kind
these are so much fun to fire, i got a mcfadden industries speed loader and can load 3 25 round mags in about 2 minutes, i run 500 rounds each time i go to the range.fantastic firearm, a must have!....at 73 years old with arthritis in my hands bad, this thing is a blast! and a whole lot cheaper than my big boy AR
- Iâve been shooting it exclusively the past couple of months. Not one single malfunction. Iâm over 1000 rounds through it. Been using the CCI AR Tacticals
I agree totally Iâm 56 and have just been diagnosed with Parkinsonâs this is by far the easiest gun to use ofall the ones I own smith & Wesson is a huge help even love my M&p 380 ez
My favorite AR to shoot for sure since 2020 lol. 22LR is the only thing I can afford to pew these days & not worry about depleting the hoard
Love my 15-22. Itâs my go to 22 now and I have many quality 22âs. Fun to shoot and accurate. Had gun shop put a really good/light trigger in mine before I picked it up. Awesome!
- Iâve only shot CCI in mine (AR Tacticals & Mini-Mags) and havenât had a single malfunction. Well over a 1000 rounds. Itâs definitely a fun little plinker
Hell of a deal! I got the exact rifle in April 2020 at a shop in WI. $637, with one mag, and no bag. It did come with an M&P red/green dot which I like a lot. I bought a M-loc sling adaptor @ $8 and a red/white flashlight for the rail my son had from his air soft gun. I bought 2 extra mags @ $25, each and 6 months later 2 more $35 each. I could have bought any number of AR-15s in 5.56-.223 for less money, but the ammo price would have quickly evened out the price differential. You got a great deal on a great little gun!
- I test a bunch of bipods, red dots, weapon lights, etc. I didnât want to go through 556 or 223 ammo at 60 cents/round when I could use a 22LR for 8 cents
âŠâŠin fact, I could have bought an AK-47 for the base price I paid for the 15-22 in 2020. The ammo would have eaten up any savings, and as it happens I really like the 15/22. Light, accurate to 100 m, and I have 4 full mags and 1000 rounds spare to go to the range come spring!đ
ARs in 22LR are so much fun.
Just got this a few weeks ago (same package with 3 mags and case) and love it. I did replace the stock and grip with Magpul because the originals just felt too "plasticky" plus I wanted to have FDE color contrast. I also pre-emptively replaced the extractor with a Volquartsen extractor since that was one of the common issues with it. I've spent more upgrading this compared to my actual 5.56 AR...it's just so much fun to shoot (and a heck of a lot cheaper too).
- I have a few thousand rounds through mine without a single issue. I replaced my stock and grip with ones from Adaptive Tactical. I did a video on it
@@Steve-Goff Have you thought about replacing the trigger? I have about 250 rounds through mine and it seems acceptable but definitely milspec.
- you can pretty much use any ar trigger. I probably have over 2000 rounds through my 15-22. I honestly donât mind the plastic trigger. I had an older model years ago with the quad rail and that trigger was gritty and would almost catch.
Man I just paid $480 for just the rifle.. wish Iâd waited for a deal like this! Still love it though so much fun to shoot for so cheap.
Just got this off a labor day sale from Palmetto 3 mags, mp 15-22, and case. 460 and some change after tax/shipping.
Just got similar deal locally from a PSA store for $406.50 after tax and $75 rebate.
Just walked out with the same gun, mags, and bag from Palmetto State for under $350. Weapon package was $450 but S&W has a $100 rebate going on right now. Out the door < $350. Can't beat it!
- thatâs an awesome deal. I have over 1000 rounds through mine without a single malfunction of any kind
I literally just bought this and have mix feelsing after watching some of these videos again lol
- I had one several years ago and never shot it once. Sold it then immediately regretted it. Iâve put a couple thousand rounds through this one and love it
Iâve order the exact same weapon from the same company. Will be here this coming week. Canât wait to use it!
How do you like it ?
awesome little plinker there love the style
They are great little rifles! Carry On
I just bought mine today during my lunch hour lol
Got it from PSA as well
I paid $454 in January for 1 magazine and a cardboard box, but I got a $75 rebate from S&W.
I have an m&p 1522 I purchase mines in 2021 she is my primary home defense weapon I named her Alisha
Here a challenge show me a 1 inch grouping at a 100 yards !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- I donât claim to be a marksman. 10 shot groups I could probably do palm size groups with this rifle. I have a Ruger 10/22 as well and the S&W groups better
Beautiful.video.and exc quality
I have one, put a 3-6x scope on it. Fun.
its $449.99 today (10-17-2022)
Holy crap my 38 hammerless snubby was more than that!
Bought one...fun gun to shoot
Would anyone use this in a carbine class?
I like to replace my stock Charging Handle in my M&P AR-15 22 sport. Simply not good enough.
Any suggestions anyone?
- one of the best available is the Radian Raptor
Thanks so muchđ€
What is the main differences between this Sport 15-22 and the Sport II 15-22?
- The original had a quad picatinny rail and the sights werenât Magpul flip up
Got the rifle and bag and 3 mags for 429.00 + tax
I've been looking at this one and the Tippmann AR 22 which one is better?
- Iâve never had the Tippman so I canât compare. I can tell you this is my 2nd 15-22. No issues whatsoever
Have one
- Iâve shot over 2000 rounds through mine and havenât had a single malfunction of any kind. Itâs been 100% reliable. I really like it
Can the birdcage flash hider be replaced?
- yes. Itâs just threaded on
I have the pistol version with a 50 round drum check it out on my shorts
is this also reliable for home defense?
- as far as reliability goes, I have over 2000 rounds through this rifle without a single malfunction of any kind. 22LR can be finicky and unreliable though because itâs rimfire. Personally, Iâd recommend looking into a 5.56 or .223 for home defense if youâre wanting a rifle
@@Steve-Goff thank you. I'd just buy a pcc 9mm.
What size bag is that. Seems they give 3 choices on Amazon or s&w
Itâs a 34 inch Duty Case. It has product #110014 and upc 661120000112
Thanks for the response
Only got one mag wth Iâm new to this
- there are different models. Most donât come with cases either. My first one was the same as yours. It came in a cardboard box with 1 magazine
Do you know if it can reliably use 22sr or 22 long or only 22lr?
i use only the lr....the other may not have enough umph to cycle the bolt......i have shot CCI mini-mag, and Winchester 333 count box, these seem to hang up in the mage, about 1 per mag....the lead end Federal 325 count fire perfect through mine, dirty but reliable,,,325 box is $21 at walmart...or 6 1/2 cents per round, hopefully they will work for you
Iâm not an expert so this is not advice. Shorts or Longs will not work with the magazine. You for sure can load shorts by hand 1 at a time.
Does it comes in different length of barrels?
- no. Just 1 barrel
Enjoy shooting the rifle 22LR cheaper to shoot Save your 223/556
