How to use the X-It Emergency Fire Ladder

In all of these fire-escape ladder videos, they never demonstrate climbing out the window onto the ladder because it cannot be done. At least not safely. And the storage bag is useless. Because once the ladder has been expanded, you will never get it folded sufficiently to fit back into the bag. Might be better to learn how to descend using a climbing rope, as would a rock climber.

It will punch holes in his wall when his weight goes on it to go out the window. It is one use. Not a practice run first. Not unless you want to have to repair the holes in the wall it will do over the window sill onto the wall.
