There have been reports that the media inside Israel doesn‘t weigh in as much on the suffering in Gaza as much as we see from Europe. I fear in ten years time Israelis will know this and in hindsight have to link this new trauma back to the older trauma of WW2 by their own motivation. Thereby not helping their ongoing recovery from the WW2 trauma. I’m a Christian and I’m struggling with this situation. I know I’m supposed to support the Jewish people but Israel is doing some horrible things. I read a comment that something to the effect of “You can support the Jewish people without supporting Israel, because Israel is not the Jewish people.”

It's not defense by Israel because Israel has no right to exist on other people's land. This follows from the November 2nd 1917 Balfour Declartation. When you read the one page carefully. It states the conditions by the British Crown under which the refugee jews were allowed to live in Palestine. One of the conditions is “‘that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-jewish communities in Palestine”. Consistently violated.
And another part says that no Jewish community in the middle east is attacked. Yet all gone now

@@multimediaproject3744 many Israelis are racist to Palestinians, perhaps less than Palestinians that are to Israelis, but this is because the Israelis are oppressed less.
What I hate about the viewership of all these folk, is the strength and interest in sharing their opinion with almost not conceptual understanding of what living in this part of the world means. Yes, Israel is more powerful, but both sides lives with people that hate them. The govt of Hamas which IS LARGELY supported by Palestinians publically regularly announcing the desire for death of all Israelis.

The ONLY solution comes from the people. The people of Palestine and Israel say enough is enough. Bebe is as bad as Putin and Hamas is as bad as ISIS (with less power). We want two moderate, peace seeking leaders who can focus on a 2state solution. Israel needs to stop the expansion, Palestine needs to stop the public announcement of its intention to kill Israel. The only way this is possible is with 2 more moderate, centralist leaders.
What's sure as hell is the viewership of Joe have no interest in getting there - more so just judging the Jews as the left love to do with no understanding from there ivory towers 😄
