He came by JOE Towers to chat about Israel's ongoing campaign of violence against the Palestinians, the West's complicity in war crimes being perpetrated by the IDF and Benjamin Netanyahu's government, and how the media needs to be more responsible in its coverage of the bombardment of Gaza.

I've lost track of the number of articles I've read and CZcams videos I've watched on this topic and this is far and away the most insightful. This entire interview was simply brilliant because it stated the facts simply with no attempt to spin them. The whole idea of evangelical Christians accepting the Jews as the "chosen people" would be funny if it were not so dangerous. And all the points Bassem made regarding the absurd hypocrisy this genocide has presented to the world were right on target!
Thank you for that Sir. Youssef. You are not only a very intelligent life philosopher who speaks truths of humanity but your delivery of the message is insurmountable. It's not only the thoughts inside one's mind but also the communicatory talent to convey a message that is memorable.

I love Bassam, even as he says that english is not his first language, he can still convey things so sharply and eloquently, cutting straight to what is most important and meaningful. I'm so glad that Bassem mentioned the religion thing, why USA support Israel. Even though I suspected the same thing for a long time, but I had never heard anyone mentioned this reason before. Other than the evangelicals in US, does anyone else in USA know why USA is so obsessed with Israel ?
