Tony Has to be my favorite person in all of master chef canada
Edit: i see a bunch of people saying Eric,
I like him but the fact that someone Tony’s age can cook like that and still have millennial vibes is cool to me
Such a gem of a man
@Dead Ryan you good
@Dead Ryan I’m not gonna marry him when he is 70 and I’m 14 sooo
@Dead Ryan you’re a strange person, calm your ham wee man
I like David and Eric
I like how chef Michael always make sure that every critique will have some form of positivity.
There you have the difference between Masterchef in Canada and Australia vs USA where it's all about the infighting and money, who cares if they actually learn anything on the way, right?
"Tony's a threat for sure, he's been in cooking for a while. He knows his stuff"
Tony: 😐I've never done this before in my life
I love Tony so much. He's so fun, and I love that he wants to go fishing again with his grandson to show off his filet skills. I also love that everyone in the kitchen loves him too. :)
Tony has some incredible knife skills. It’s hard to fillet a fish, even harder with a flat fish, and Tony filleting a flat fish for the first time that great is amazing. I’m proud of Tony

Chef claudio at midnight before masterchef: “yeah baby” a good word to use. Let’s try it tomorrow.
The day after: ima shoot my shot.
*proceeds to shoot at complete wrong time and be proud*
How am I so sure your name isn't a lie
"Yeah Baby" is one of the catch phrases from Tony. Claudio just wanted to emphazise.
lmfaoooo
"I can't get the kids in the van in 8 minutes" bruh, but at the same time 🤣🤣
"I can't feed the chickens in 8 minutes." Unless she has hundreds of chickens I can't imagine this takes more than a few minutes basically fill up their food/water and done. I have ducks and they make their enclosure a slippery mud hole but it still takes about 5 minutes or less to give them food/water and let them out into the yard 🤣😅
Are you saved? Where will you go when you die? Heaven or hell?
The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell.
John 1:1,14 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us,
1 John 3:8 KJV
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 1:10
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT.

“We had to throw it back because we didn’t know how to fillet it!”
Me and the Asians: Throws and entire 8 pounder in the pan
hahahahahaha
😂😂😂
True hahaha
Is it really necessary? Lol any fish I've ever caught I just remove the scales, cut the head off, slice down the middle(horizontally that is lol). Then it just gets rinsed off and thrown in a pan.
@@shikarixox1195 i just wanted to say that washing your fish/rinsing with water while raw is not done. The reason for that is because you have higher risk of spreading bacteria to the surface and possibly around your kitchen. That's all keep on fishing and roasting.
"Come on, you fish"
"I am already dead for this, what more do you want me to do?"
Tony is like the perfect example of a loving Italian dad/grandfather, I'd love to be part of his family❤

what a weird comment wtf
This is what I try to say to people. When you underestimate yourself, you tend to perform better. Tony is the perfect example. Over estimation usually leads to failure.
I wholeheartedly disagree
Not really. its a fact that confidence makes you perform better, Though under estimation can also make you try harder to 'compensate' for your perceived lack of knowledge, however that only happens to some people. Most people who under estimate themselves tend not to try as hard.
@@violentnexus3563 agreed. Only weaklings think like that

I once splurged on a sole meuniere at a very fancy seafood restaurant in Miami. It is traditionally deboned and plated table side - a little bit of theatre. There is a centre spine to be lifted out. The waiter totally butchered it! Unfortunately I think he was quite nervous and embarrassed even though we assured him he didn't have to be. It was basically hacked apart, but it takes a lot of skill and experience as it is very delicate. Still it was very tasty and memorable though and would recommend ordering it if you can. I am impressed that home cooks can make this. Be sure that you like butter! 8 minutes for this challenge?! My fancy meal took at least 20 to come to the table. (True, of course they had other guests).

A classic Sole Meuniere should cooked whole on the bone and then taken off the bone at the table by an expert waiter, you know someone like me. That's why it has to be perfectly cooked.
How do you take bones out without destroying the structure?
@@monojitchatterjee3185 I'm not a French cook or anything, but maybe the fry on the fish will cause it to be a little crispy so it can hold its shape
@@monojitchatterjee3185 it's easier to peel off the bones from a fried fish so maybe that?

“Fuuuuuuuuuuudge”
Why would anyone go to masterchef if "I have never filleted fish in my life"
I personally believe it's because a whole fish can be more expensive than just buying it already portioned. It may also have to do with their location; if they're not near water it's probably harder to get an entire fresh fish. Keep in mind, I'm no expert. But I think they're there based on what they can produce in the kitchen and maybe have just not experienced every technique in the book
@@jbee2649 I know man but if you go for a masterchef you at least try to do it at home like some sort of practise before pursuing the "masterchef of Canada" XD
Or when they say “I’ve never baked cupcakes in my life” something so basic and you can’t do ? Like I understand you wanna be a chef not a baker but it’s important to know how to do both. It doesn’t hurt to know more, all it takes is practice
