My clinch has been getting better. Strangley enough, BJJ has been helping me with it
Cheers!!
Makes sense. Training in BJJ or any other grappling sport should help with touch and sensitivity, or 'feeling out' the other person.
Try judo, mix very well with thai clinch.
Great video. I only started working the clinch in sparring after about 15 months in into training and thought, THIS IS MUAY THAI!
Gotta love high kicks releasing from the clinch, such a vulnerable range during the fight!
Osss :)
Amazing, you teach techniques so well. Now that I am coaching kickboxing I am observing how martial arts are taught and you really do a good job showing the details, setups and I like how you show when a technique doesn't work and how you should follow up anyway. keep up the amazing work
thanks so much for the feedback!!
That head kick off of the clinch is deadly man. You can see how many of those guys almost went to another planet. 😄
Great video!
thank you!!
So consistent! Bonus points for mentioning "try to replace their spot". Excellent narrative and super informative. Beautiful technique with a nice use of momentum. I am always amazed at the footage collection you have accumulated.
Thank you for the support :) I try my best to show sparring so people believe. It is all about confidence, especially when I first started learning clinch, I only learned it seeing it with zero resistance so it was difficult to grasp how all the sweeps worked! Even sometimes now, it surprises me how these sweeps can throw your partner in the air!
Super informative video, Jeff!
thanks so much Zachary!!
Great technique selection, nicely explained as ever ! Thanks for this !
thank you!!
Thanks Jeff I've been waiting for this one
:)

Yess my guy I really needed this if I’m being honest
Definitely if you fight in Thailand!! Haha
Thank you for breaking down the quarter turn sweep with all the various tie ups!
I wana see you start using them!!!
Great video you are so high level it’s crazy
Thanks man!
Hey Jeff, great video! Can you please make a video on altering the Thai clinch to work more effectively in an MMA setting (I.e. avoiding takedowns from the clinch etc)? Ive been having some trouble importing my clinching skills from Muay Thai into an MMA setting and would love to hear your thoughts
Thanks
No prob!
Nice video with pleanty of info. Thanks Jeff !
No prob :)
7:49 that kick was beautiful
:)
I liked that frame into the high kick ever since I saw Ramon Dekkers do it.
love it!!
Hey Jeff, I’m just wondering if you can a video on changing angles and combining that with wrestling takedown entries
Definitely!!
Happy Saturday 😁
happy Saturday!!
Nice 💪👍
Thank you!
nice technique
Thanks!
Do a video for entering the clinch
Straight to the saved muay thai file
:))
I just bought a punching pad to improve my defense, should I ( the one wearing the pads) keep up with the punches or the other guy keep up with me
Both should be working together. Takes 2 to tango !
@@MMAShredded thx
The video we all needed🤌
:)
that dude at 3:28 got knocked out from that
We need a bjj hand fighting tips
I was worried until 0:15
This is perfect I’ve been noticing I need more variation in my clinch game aside from just my hip toss and dirty boxing
:)
One day I'll be a very well known fighter and I'll come to train with you
Would love that!
You are my favourite type of comment, i love quoting the movie collateral>
Vincent: Look in the mirror. Paper towels, clean cab. Limo company some day. How much you got saved?
Max: That ain't any of your business.
Vincent: Someday? Someday my dream will come? One night you will wake up and discover it never happened. It's all turned around on you. It never will. Suddenly you are old. Didn't happen, and it never will, because you were never going to do it anyway. You'll push it into memory and then zone out in your barco lounger, being hypnotized by daytime TV for the rest of your life. Don't you talk to me about murder. All it ever took was a down payment on a Lincoln town car. That girl, you can't even call that girl. What the fuck are you still doing driving a cab?
Does Jeff have age limits for his mma shredded fight camps? He seems to fight even little girls on his channel
@@PaMuShin Im already training fighting guy and have a fight scheduled what are you on about and Mr. Chan is a great teacher of course he spars all his students stop hating bc you dont have the guts to step in a gym and train instead stay on your couch eating potato chips and oreos guy
7:35 xD Bruh
Haha
Wassup
what sup!
Why you don't fight anymore?
They don’t pay enough compared to what I do coaching online/making content and honestly I don’t like fighting, I love being a martial artist tho!
@@MMAShredded Lately i got into a discussion, that made me wonder about not enough pay. I was discussing with others about Johan 'JoJo' Ghazali and was breaking down that he had for the intenseness/risk of his fights a barely higher income. Roughly twice the average income, but the risk of getting early on incapacitated for life. Then someone mentioned to me that he snatched 27 mio from that supplement company for advertising. And you have to consider the premium for good fights of the night or winning the competition.
Here my rough calculation> with 100.000 contract he already pays roughly 40% tax, from the 5k that stay per month , you can deduce again almost 1k for fight camp and then comes trainer, travel cost, food, lodging in hotels and medical cost. So if he is lucky he maybe has around 2k per month for luxury. If his body gives in, he is done for.
Since Jeff is american and would already get 2K for working in construction it might not be worth it, but for a south east asian it is twice to thrice their average income.
If you know who is gabriel varga you might believe him more, he has a video about how many fights you need. Quote of Varga> The reality of how many fights you need to make a million dollars is there is a massive range. Petrosyan made 1M for winning the ONE FC tournament. And some people will never make over $5k per fight. So making million could range between 1-200 fights.

Cheers!
Jone jones did this
cheers!
OOWWEE
:)
And again IcyMike did sneak into your video at seven forty. And even ramsey dewey at minute eight and five seconds. I had to watch twice, the fashion sense of you guys is really distracting.Funny thing that you guys hardly wear thai boxing shorts, are you not afraid that your pants rip while fighting?
haha!
