Today I'm going to rebuild a Weber 45 DCOE Carb.

This is actually going on the Midget racer not the Mini, But I did run one of these on my mini for a year or so. They can be rather thirsty things.

Yes... I know there were a lot of o-rings left, the kit had more then needed.

It would be VERY long and VERY tedious, it's just a lot of screwing to be fair.
I also cleaned up and painted the Maniflow manifold (you'll see that at the end)

Flushing agent does not remove glass bead. Hot soapy water, brushes. Heat item then blow with compressed air. Repeat process

Did the bearings come with the rebuild kit? I don’t remember seeing them in the kits I got from Weber. Anyway I have two I need to rebuild by end of the week once I get back in town. Let me know.
I'd love to see how to set adjustments on one!
Hi, I have a question about removing the 'main chokes' (venturis) from the 45 DCOEs on my car. Once the air cleaners and ram pipes have been removed, it looks to me, from watching your video, that both the main and auxiliary chokes are held in place by just two locking screws located on the underside of each carb barrel. Am I right about that or are their other impediments to their removal?
