Nice tutorial! I use an Audiointerface - Steinberg 2,2 mk2. You have MIDI, and Audio IN/Out for about 100€. Runs perfectly and syncs with BM like butter. Use a Roland Fantom 8, PC and IPad Pro, all at once! It’s great.
I was searching for something like this because I ordered a MPC Live II and I have a Maschine +. The major selling point on Maschine is the live time stretch and come to find out BeatMaker3 is pretty good for that too, but MPC is just ok. So I want to see about using time stretch in BeatMaker3 then sampling it into MPC Live once I have the tempo and pitch stretched in BeatMaker3. So Thanks!!
Good one. I do same but using AUM for apps and Plugins. Works like charme. But now I ll try it with BM as well for time strech slices. Its way better in BM as in MP stand alone. Thx.
I was searching for the same reason bro. I have a Maschine + buy ordered an MPC. My Hang up with trying MPC is times stretch ain’t on par with Maschine +. But I’ve seen BM do a real good job. Only problem is I gave the iPad to my 6yr old😂 ima have to “borrow that back” 😂😂
I agree the BM3 Time Stretch is great. The fact that it doesn’t have to render is what makes it great for me. Just being able to turn it on and use change the tempo freely pretty much makes it one of the best I’ve used.
I appreciate ya uploads kinfolk! I’m only having one issue… I did all of what you said to connect my iPad to my MPC one via the Bluetooth connection kit. Everything is set but it’s only playing from my iPad. I want to be able to record the sounds from my iPad into my MPC. How would I be able to do that fam!?
Update the firmware/ buy a dongle. Unfortunately you can’t go 3/8mm (aux) to te mpc, it needs to be from a dongle I dunno why lol. Or, sample it into another sampler, use that. Hope that helps.
You had both the "sync in" and "sync out" powered on at the same time on the ipad, thats why it wouldnt sync...only one can be the in or slave or the out/master .
Hey you would need an audio interface and the proper USB adapter (Camera Connection Kit if your iPad has a lightning port, USBC hub if you have one of the newer iPads) make sure the audio interface is class compliant (plug and play and needs no drivers) Hope this helps.
