Wow this is way easier than I thought it would be.
That's the cool part of some of these tracks. sometimes I look at the sheet and think "oh damn, this will take ages to learn" and then it just happens pretty naturally 😊
@@Lifetap then sometimes it's the other way round and you think it will be easy then the piece takes ages to learn😂
Epic!!!
Thank you u r a life saverrrrr. I have to do this song tomorrow for a grade nd I almost forgot it🙏🏽🙏🏽😭😭
I Love it
I think around this point the pieces are getting more interesting!
Super ☺
Very good
Nice
😮
I don’t play piano and have to learn this in about 20 minutes. So... thank you
Is that possible?
@@noventay4 ofc not ;)
Are you a self-taught? And how do you deal with the metronome? I have a very hard time using it, do you use it always?
Not the uploader but I am currently going through this book to relearn and brush up after a long time away... I don't always use the metronome but every now and then I'll switch it back on to check my timing and keep me honest :P
Hard to play the pedal 😂😂😂
@@amyfu7771 i know this comment is like months old and youve probably already figured out pedal but i recently started pedal and i find it easy to think of using pedal as driving a manual (stick shift?) car!! when the key comes up pedal goes down and vice versa, kind of like the clutch and the accelerator in the car!!
Just press the notes and press pedal thereafter, this also counts for overlapping pedal
Don’t rely on metronome, they tend to become white noise for beginners .
Learn to first count, and then to clap and count and then play while counting.
Repeat till your bones develop an inherent understanding of rhythm. Like natural vibrators.
Good playing! Although I still don't like this song. I can do it, but it just ...I don't know, I just don't have the feel for it. It's just very mechanical. I just grind the gears through the song.
i have to say ididnt exactly enjoy the way it was played here. mechanical like you said. i missed the pain and hardship the song is about. sometimes it isnt just about playing the right notes
Yayyyy
Gotta practice this in 3 mins😂
ahah was it your homework?
@@Lifetap no haha because of Covid I couldn’t do my lessons at this music school so we were doing it on zoom
wait so we aren't supposed to hold down the notes for the slurred notes? In the 2nd measure I thought if it is the same note you just hold it down since its connected D:
They're not connected. The slur is telling you to play the first 3 measures smoothly. Ties that add the same notes together are used to extend notes through different measures. If the notes in the 2nd measure were to be held down they'd be half notes and not 2 quarter notes. I hope I phrased this clearly enough!
@@carbohydration9251 yes you explained it clearly; luckily though I found that out pretty soon after I commented that 2 months ago
I'll probably have some more question on the way !!
@@chickfalley4205 so cool. how's your journey going with the alfred books?
@@Lifetap pretty good, I'm so close to moving onto the second book !
Why is that first E played by the right hand?
That’s how the song goes
why not?
@@chickfalley4205 if you play it with your left you don't have to move your right hand
@@kroeliebuschie oh true, maybe for show then
