Looks great but so much oil. Also lamb rends fat as it cooks, so lots of cholesterol in gravy. I use very little oil and sometimes quickly boil the lamb before cooking to get rid of extra fat but still retain flavor. Overall nice easy recipe.
Thank you so much for sharing your tip. I usually boil & drain excess fat from lamb when making soup. Haven’t tried with curry yet. Will definitely try it the next time.
The lamb/mutton and goat fats are much healthier than beef. I use olive oil for rendering and cooking process and that makes it a bit healthier as such I try not to compromise with the taste. I do agree oil can be reduced in favour of lamb juices
The curry looks delicious. I make it the same way with very little oil. When the curry is done I drain the oil. Your cooking brings me memories of my mothers cooking in Fiji. Those were the days.😘
