- Fiji-Indian recipe for chilli and tamarind chutney! Full written recipe: thatfijitaste.com/imli-mircha...
This chutney is sweet, tangy and goes well as a side to vegetarian Fiji-Indian dishes, as well as a dip for fritters such as bara, bhajia and samosas.

Wanted to make this for awhile, thx for sharing, I’ll definitely try to make this… ❤
Very nice good job
This is so similar to alam pachadi ie ginger pickle from Andhra Pradesh in India. The only difference is we don’t add dates or sultanas and the red chilies are crushed. Love from India 🇮🇳🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
iris aunty,TQ Looks So Delicious 😋 T Q.
Thank 💐 u 💐
Yummy.. Can we make this with green chillies.
Hi! Yes you can use green chillies too!
Thanks for the recipe. Do I need to put in the dates and sultanas ? What about the rice flour ?
Hi there! You don’t need to use dates and sultanas - substitute it with some extra sugar as per your taste. Rice flour is also optional but without it your chutney may be too watery. Hope you enjoy the chutney!
@@thatfijitaste sweet thanks for getting back to me. Will definitely try it out this weekend 🙂
