    You dismantled way more than needed, the only pain are the 2 screws that hold the headunit from below, they're hard to get to, but you should be able to do it anyway.
    Also, there was no need to remove the dash trims and vents, all you need to take off is the middle piece that holds the AC controls.
    And no, you don't have to dismantle that to pieces, it comes off as a single piece, has no screw to hold it to the dash but pressure clips only.
    Last time i took off my nav i required about 1 minute, as i didn't have the 2 screws underneath anymore ( and they're not needed).
    Btw, mine is a 2.2 diesel executive trim with a manual transmission.

    Hey mate. Can you please help me out on advice on what to do with my door. Driver's door doesn't want to lock with a car outside? If I close all three doors manually and close the driver's it opens the others. So currently I'm only closing 3 doors and not the driver's one. Please help. Thanks In advance

      Hie. I am not well versed with doors but when I opened mine to install speaker wires they seem to be the same with most Honda models - CRV , Accord so maybe take it to those dealers for Honda they may be able to assist.

    i have the old radio , can i just purchase an original frv sat nav unit and is it jsut plug and play

    • @SKTWoodDesign
      @SKTWoodDesign  Před 3 lety

      If its exactly the same as the one you are removing , its plug and play - if not you will need an experience car radio installer to fit in the new radio.

    What does it look like at the bottom near to the gear knob with it all taken out? Did you have to find a different dash?

    • @SKTWoodDesign
      @SKTWoodDesign  Před 4 lety +1

      Hie. No - I sanded down the opening a bit to fit the Android Radio.
