  • First cast of the day on the River Twiss and I hooked into a big trout which took my size 16 Parachute Adams. After a brief fight he managed to get back to his bolt hole which is in the foundations of the drystone wall which forms the opposite bank. Damn!

    Judging by the ruckus that was a "slab" of a trout. Oh well, based on another video you landed another magnificent GB in later casts. Great day on the river.

    Bugger. Never lost one to a hole in a wall. Lost plenty behind sunken logs though.
