I'm sorry for your loss. Have you heard Trans-Siberian Orchestra's version of Cannon? It's beautiful there's words to it called Christmas Canon from 1998 with kids singing and then there's a rock version which is also a beautiful piece and the rock version from 2004. But the version with the kids singing sounds exactly like this.
Really? Christmas Canon is one of their most popular songs, it is really good, you'd like it. You might also like Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 which is God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman/Carol of the Bells medley, Wizards In Winter is another epic song and Nutrocker.
When I play this song on my Violin, no one notices the beginning. But when I get to 0:50 they're like "Oh yes I know that song". As a child I've always heard this song playing with a choir singing I just thought it was beautiful I always asked my mom "What's this song called?" she never knew. Now im proud of myself 2 and a half years playing the violin, Im now 11 years of age started at 9, I hope I can follow my passion for the Violin. When im 20 or 18 I'll look back at this video and hopefully this comment, and remember :)
Nightcore x Sabrina, hold onto that passion that you feel inside when you play. The world will try to take it from you. Don't let them. Instead let it fill your soul when you play, and your audience will feel it too. God bless.
When I was young, my older sister always played this song on her piano every morning. I was really annoyed cuz I need to sleep. But now she is married and lives aboard so, I have to listen to this song thru CZcams every morning. Thanks @grimgroove for uploading this video.
My daughter walked into the church while a pianist played this beautiful grace filled melody, she looked beautiful, the room was beautifully decorated, the service was holy, her husband Prince Charming. The rest of the day was blessed, I cannot tell you the over powering Joy I feel when I listen to this little bit of heaven. Thank you Pachelbel for a little touch of perfection, praise God for the gift you were given.
My 4th grade teacher used to play this song (and others) in her class whenever we were doing class work and I’m having a complete breakdown because I feel so old now and I want to go back
How 2 play: random scales/arpeggios/chords in order: D, A, B, F#, G, D, G, A Right hand is melody (the same "I, V, VI, III, IV, I, IV, V" pattern can be used for any key) It's what I like about this, so easy yet so enjoyable to play.
This was played at my grandmothers memorial ceremony and it took me a while to find what the music was and when it was played during the slideshow I remember crying so hard and I miss her and this music really suited her as a person so calm and sweet never yelled at us kids 😢😢❤️❤️

This song reminds me of my grandma, she loves my piano playing. She knew i was learning to play back when I was starting out and learnt how to play a very easy version of the river flows in you. She encouraged me to keep learning. She recently passed away early in the month, I'm still having trouble as to the reason why, It was so sudden. I learned to play this a few weeks or months before it happened. It was my favourite song to play at the time, and when she died, I decided to dedicate my first "hard" song to learn at the time for her. I played this at her funeral, promising myself to never let that song go, and cherish it like she cherished me. She was so close to me and my family, I miss her a lot. I know she was listening to me play at the funeral in her casket, I just know she was listening, and I hope she's proud of how far I've come.

Canon , how do you still manage to sound so pleasant when I have heard you over a 1000 times, I never get bored of you. Truly amazing how a simple melody can be better than most songs/music.
I played this piece everyday at my grandparents house. My grandpa always loved this piece and me playing it. Sometimes, we would play it together. So, I played this at my school talent show, and I said, “ Grandpa, this is for you.”
I can't wait to learn this on the piano! I may have just started today but I always loved classics like these and I'm excited to finally be able to play them!
Good for you! Keep at it no matter how trying it can be some days. I’ve been playing for 4 years now. I had a simple version in a book that I happened upon and just like the sound of it when I played it. My teacher said “nah! You need a harder version!” 😂 it’s coming along well.
I get what you're saying. I know because I'm smarter than most people. Why, even within the womb I was listening to classical music and composing my own pieces. Even now, nearly 5 years from the day I was born I have studied such classics as Mozart with the utmost efficiency.
In memory of my late beloved mother I might have a dream of nostalgic my late beloved mother This dream is the ultimate in bliss for me This masterpiece touched the heartstrings of my late beloved mother , and she shed tears with being impressed
I don't know why but when i hear this sweet soothing song, i somehow feel like i am in the audience who watches my life out of the stage and takes me out of my world. I can't tell how a simple melody can make us feel like this but some songs makes me believe that music is truly the language of the universe and that's definitely one of them. You will never know who i am but all of us have listened this song in someplaces, during some points of our life..
I practiced this on my piano for 5 months for a talent show, and I won first place! It brought tears and smiles to everyone's faces, along with mine. :)
The only one who answered my question...Thank you, I'm very pleased ... Although this is a trifle, but it's a pleasant feeling that somewhere in the other half of the globe there are such people and they answer you ... Good luck!
cool can you send me a link with the notes because i've been searching for exactly the same version and i cant find it anywhere...many others but not this one .and this one is the best.
This song reminds me of nostalgic youth back when life was much simpler and worry-free. Glad to see that this piece of music is still enduring to this day for those that still need it.
For what ever reason, this song really puts mortality in perspective for me. By that I mean I think about how short life really is. It makes me sad. But we all need this sadness in order to truly appreciate the things we have in life.
My Aunt passed away last year in 2021, after One Year of Battling Cancer. My family, and cousins are upset. My Dad was Really Upset, that His Sister Passed Away. I said that She was a good, woman, aunt, sister, and friend. My Aunt and Uncle, used to look after Me, when I was just a Baby to a little Toddler. May She Rest in Peace 🕊️. My Aunt was 55 when she passed away, and had a Birthday coming up. My Aunt is in Heaven 👼😇☁️🧙♂️🧔 and She will be in My familie's Hearts Forever.
Im crying right now listening to this because my friend is moving in 7 months and no one could ever understand the bond we had and will hopefully have forever. I just can't bare it. This is the first time one of my friends have moved away..😭😭 She has been my friend for five years and it has felt like forever...
I've moved 9 times in my life. You'll eventually lose touch and see them on facebook and say "oh suicide?" The suicide part only happened to one of them, and he was my older brother's friend. I don't think it was suicide, I think it was an accident cause he shot himself in the knee. Any ways, the point is, you forget and move on.
Well I mean I was playing this around her age, as long as you practice a bunch and you have a good teacher and a good memory, it’s totally possible. My old teacher always told me “If your fingers don’t hurt, you haven’t been practicing enough.”
I love this piece. My daughter chose it as her wedding entrance music but, since we're in Wales, it was played on a harp. It sounded ethereal and listening to it here brings back so many beautiful and precious emotions.❤️
I only remember this from piano tiles, I used to play it with my cousins and sister when the game was really hyped years ago! Now I keep coming back here to relive those days lol.
THE FACT THAT THEY PUT (BEST PIANO VERSION) I- HOW DID THEY KNOW. THIS IS THE EXACT ONE I WANTED GO LISTEN TO! I HAD TO SCROLL DOWN SO MUCH TO FIND IT BUT THIS ONE IS THE BESTTTTT it’s so worth it❤
This song just makes me think about death and how life goes on after it. At first, it is slow and calm, like a dying person giving up their last breaths, accepting their death. Then, it slowly starts to get wilder. More emotional. Almost happy. As if the person was becoming one with the wholeness of nature, locking the circle that is life. Flowers bloom, birds chirp and insects crawl all around and on an ancient grave of someone, that was once happy. The life is gone, and so is the happiness. But life as a whole goes on. And it needs not that one person to do so. In fact, that one death might´ve brought about a new life and once again changed up the everlasting and everchanging garden of nature. And as a young man places a flower on an old man´s grave, he feels, that one day so might one of his offsprings do for him.
When my grandbaby was born during the Pandemic & just after Kenosha rioted, at just 48 hrs old, this was her first piano song she ever heard. Late at 1am and in need of being held up right after every feeding for half an hour around the clock, played softly so she had to still to hear it
This exact arrangement was the first whole piece that I learned to play in the piano last 2019. I haven't touched my piano for a few months now due to busy work but I can still play this piece from memory. Very nice to play.
It reminds me of my grandad when I went to his funeral I just felt he had a good life he spent it with us he couldn’t do anything he was diagnosed with lung cancer like I said he couldn’t do anything my dad had to go round and help him to the toilet he was useless you know he just gave up and he died in his sleep I just think of it now he had a joyful and happy everlasting life but unfortunately he just let go I was very happy of him doing that but know I look back and I look at the pictures with him and I just feel depressed but I’m happy he lives a good life and r.i.p grandad I’ll always be with you and you will always be with me 😭😭😭😭😭
honestly, out of classical music i can say this is some pretty boring shit. Don't get me wrong it is beautiful, but it is literally the same thing repeating and is one of the songs that gives the entire genre a bad outlook by people who only ever hear this. That's my opinion, but I do listen to mostly classical as well (I'm a music major fcol) just this one i don't like @--@
The beauty in Pachelbel's Canon in D for me has always been in the flowing strings. But this piano version is quite nice to fall asleep to nonetheless.
A boy playing this piano composition for someone he waits earnestly..he remembers all the bittersweet precious memories he shares with that person... he hopes to meet that person soon.. This is the story that always comes up in my mind when I listen to this song.. :)
0:52 one of my favourite parts of this music. This music is really heart melting. If you think it's very deep, at least for me it is. At first things go slow and easy like our life during childhood. But as time passes things get complicated and hard like in the part I mentioned above. This music is very special for me. It makes me feel happy with my eyes wet.
Agree. My mom passed 14 months ago and I am still grieving and crying daily. This piece just pulled all the deepest sorrow out of me once it started playing and I cried non stop. Really powerful piece. I love you Mamy. 💜
OH MY GOD, THANK YOU! I’ve been trying to find for days where I had heard this song before, and now I remember! It’s what plays at the end of Llamas with Hats!
no cause for real, even if the most chaotic moment is happening playing this would make it look so peaceful. despite of everything chaotic, it made it feel like it’s peaceful..
sinagtala-franco salome-fidel esmeralda-fabricio aleeza-francis nathan okay, don't touch meh, i just finished reading OUR ASYMPTOTIC LOVE STORY and now I'm here literally crying because of listening to canon in d😭
I started out playing piano tiles 2 I saw my dad's piano in the back of his house and decided to give it a try. I used to listen to other music but now its mainly piano and orchestra. This is my favorite song I have begun playing piano and taking lessons I am going to play a simpler version of this song for recital because it makes me feel comfortable safe and most of all accepted. This song brings me happiness and courage to keep playing and I hope it does for those other pianists out there too ;)
This song is possibly my favourite out there, I’m learning piano and it’s a slow process but I’m able to play with both hands (sort of) but I hope that with practice and determination, I’ll be able to play as amazingly as this
When I experience the love that can't be, I already understand this song. It hurts so bad but it also makes me feel good and also helps me to grow as a person. This song will be forever in my heart.

Good for you! Keep at it no matter how trying it can be some days. I’ve been playing for 4 years now. I had a simple version in a book that I happened upon and just like the sound of it when I played it. My teacher said “nah! You need a harder version!” 😂 it’s coming along well.
@@Jaktwin congratulations on learning to play the piano! Make a video of you playing,We would love to hear.
I'm 3 years old, and when I am not at home supporting my kids and wife, I am listening to classical music like this.
Mikey Johnson Wha?? 3?????
I get what you're saying. I know because I'm smarter than most people. Why, even within the womb I was listening to classical music and composing my own pieces. Even now, nearly 5 years from the day I was born I have studied such classics as Mozart with the utmost efficiency.

I don't know why but when i hear this sweet soothing song, i somehow feel like i am in the audience who watches my life out of the stage and takes me out of my world. I can't tell how a simple melody can make us feel like this but some songs makes me believe that music is truly the language of the universe and that's definitely one of them.

how to play this song
This song reminds me of nostalgic youth back when life was much simpler and worry-free. Glad to see that this piece of music is still enduring to this day for those that still need it.
Its really remarkable how one man can make this piece, by himself.
How is it even possible for someone to dislike this??
because its not the original :/ but i love it!!

Ethan Ashby don't know. The music itself is entrancing
Maybe because they either don't like it or they accidentally hit dislike..

For what ever reason, this song really puts mortality in perspective for me. By that I mean I think about how short life really is. It makes me sad. But we all need this sadness in order to truly appreciate the things we have in life.

Im crying right now listening to this because my friend is moving in 7 months and no one could ever understand the bond we had and will hopefully have forever. I just can't bare it. This is the first time one of my friends have moved away..😭😭 She has been my friend for five years and it has felt like forever...
The exact same thing happened to me, except I was the one moving away... I understand. I really do. I would do almost anything to move back...
Jesus never moves away from us.
I've moved 9 times in my life. You'll eventually lose touch and see them on facebook and say "oh suicide?"
The suicide part only happened to one of them, and he was my older brother's friend. I don't think it was suicide, I think it was an accident cause he shot himself in the knee.
Any ways, the point is, you forget and move on.

Crazy to think that a 341 year old song is still universally loved today.
Wait, Jaiden could play this as a kid?
That’s pretty amazing!
And she played from memory too
Josie Le bruh I learn everything then memorise it like normal pianists
Findleeey Benge And how old were you when you started playing music like this?
Well I mean I was playing this around her age, as long as you practice a bunch and you have a good teacher and a good memory, it’s totally possible. My old teacher always told me “If your fingers don’t hurt, you haven’t been practicing enough.”
I wish I could. But my mom doesn't take me to piano lessons and I don't have a piano

Angelica Patlan Rest In Peace ✌️
I might be an atheist but dam that’s a good line.
This is beautiful!!
This is art. You made you me cry
So much writing for so little attention, what a shame
It was not done for attention. It was done to share the thought with no matter how many learn of it.

Why cant music be more like this in the modern world
It's obviously because all of the world's idiots are whipping their butts off.

Gecause the taste of people changes overtime and can't stick to the same thing for a million years
honestly, out of classical music i can say this is some pretty boring shit. Don't get me wrong it is beautiful, but it is literally the same thing repeating and is one of the songs that gives the entire genre a bad outlook by people who only ever hear this. That's my opinion, but I do listen to mostly classical as well (I'm a music major fcol) just this one i don't like
