Pachelbel was a German composer, organist and teacher who brought the south German organ tradition to its peak. He composed a large body of sacred and secular music, and his contributions to the development of the chorale prelude and fugue have earned him a place among the most important composers of the middle Baroque era.
Pachelbel's music enjoyed enormous popularity during his lifetime; he had many pupils and his music became a model for the composers of south and central Germany. Today, Pachelbel is best known for the Canon in D, as well as the Chaconne in F minor, the Toccata in E minor for organ, and the Hexachordum Apollinis, a set of keyboard variations.
Pachelbel's music was influenced by southern German composers, such as Johann Jakob Froberger and Johann Kaspar Kerll, Italians such as Girolamo Frescobaldi and Alessandro Poglietti, French composers, and the composers of the Nuremberg tradition. He preferred a lucid, uncomplicated contrapuntal style that emphasized melodic and harmonic clarity. His music is less virtuosic and less adventurous harmonically than that of Dieterich Buxtehude, although, like Buxtehude, Pachelbel experimented with different ensembles and instrumental combinations in his chamber music and, most importantly, his vocal music, much of which features exceptionally rich instrumentation. Pachelbel explored many variation forms and associated techniques, which manifest themselves in various diverse pieces, from sacred concertos to harpsichord suites

Лет 6 назад я впервые услышал в какой-то рекламе на тот момент неизвестную мне Canon in D, и с тех пор я влюблён в классику всем своим сердцем, а Canon теперь стала частью меня как личности, я надеюсь, что этот оркестр жизни я услышу и перед последним своим вздохом.
Странно, я тоже натыкаюсь на него впервые и тоже отличные впечатления оставляет его музыка.

Passei por muito tempo procurando essa sinfonia novamente e hoje a reencontrei, ela me lembra uma menina que conheci quanto tinha 10 anos, exatamente a idade do meu filho hoje, e ouvi-la novamente foi como fundir o céu com o espaço/tempo na terra em uma única coisa só.

This & Hans Zimmer - Time I cannot even comprehend how they did it. My mind just goes numb when I try think of it. One this I would ask Hans Zimmer since he is still alive if I could. Like man did you hear Time before you created it kind of thing like like were do you even start creating something like that.
@@kudzijamesrusike Well Hans Zimmer make great music, but nothing to compare with Pachelbel, those guys knew a lot about music, more than anybody today, Pachelbel, Bach, etc are really best musician that ever existed, no one can make fugue with 8-12 melodic track, that's insane

S'il fallait élire une meilleure musique de tous les temps, ce serait le Canon de Pachelbel. On peut l'emporter en musique classique jusqu'à la guitare hard rock. En passant par le piano, la flute...en la sifflant. Lente et douce, rapide et hargneuse. En montagne, à la mer, sous les océans, à la campagne, en été, en hiver, dans un film d'amour, sur une scène de bataille, au-delà de notre galaxie, dans un champ de fleurs, aux jeux olympiques, dans un ralenti des beaux gestes de Zidane, dans la course d'un cheval, les cheveux dans le vent en moto, en vélo cross dans les bois, à la pêche... Bref, la musique universelle, s'il en est une, c'est elle ! Belle, attirante, joyeuse et triste, prude et sexy, blonde, brune et rousse. Un amour de musique. Merci monsieur le compositeur d’inonder le monde depuis si longtemps et pour longtemps encore de cette magie qui nous emporte ailleurs à chaque écoute.
