I'd never considered a night vision scope due to cost but man you got me educated and so excited about this Arken zulus i just ordered one for my Ruger American Predator 223. By the way, I really enjoy your video's, thank you and g'day from Melbourne Australia !
I've never had a problem with adjusting the reticle. Use a target with a 1 MOA grid at 100 yards. Fire at the center. Note where the bullet hits. 4 clicks per MOA (the usual), adjust the turrets for the offset. If the hit is upper right say 1.5" up and 1" right, then 6 clicks UP and 4 clicks RIGHT. Same goes for hits Left and Down or Up. Adjust the turrets for Left and Up or Down by the number of clicks needed for the off center distance. That should put you right on center. However, since .22LR is so inconsistent, this only really works with center-fire ammo.

Now we need a video on how to use the range finding and ballistics function. Also on the app on your phone. There is a lot to this thing. Nice job on the vid.
Hi Doug: I know that. But that's not my point. They give you printed instruction a lot of which is too small to see easily. Could imagine trying to use the instructions at the range. Not everybody has perfect eye sight you know. Nor do I generally take my printer/scanner to the range with me. Besides it was basically a comment that was intended to be humorous in nature. You are familiar with humor, yes?
I just got mine today! Have waited several weeks to actually receive it. I have almost every single scope Arken makes in one variant or the other. Love their products. Excited to zero mine and start using it for predator control on my property.
WHO_TEE_WHO the easiest way to I found to sight in any scope is to aim at the bullseye and then move your crosshair to your bullet holes then you should be on Target this will prevent you from moving your crosshairs the wrong way just a little tip I learned over the years

Here in Kaliforniastan we are not allowed to have night vision. I guess the politicians are afraid we might use them and suppressors to do bad things to them?? Soon they will only allow us to have flintlocks?? If we are lucky.

I’m in Tn as well and I was wondering the legality of these for chasing deers. I know you can’t night hunt or thermal hunt but could you use the daytime part of the scope for deer during the day or would it be banned due to night vision capability
After watching your video on your cva scout pistol, i went out and found me one in 6.5 grendel. Im having trouble finding a good long range pistol scope. Any recommendations. Thanks the the informative and entertaining videos btw
Long Range pistol scope doesn't really exist. Pistols aren't meant foe long range. IF you want to use it long range you will just have to use a rifle scope with good eye relief
@kdawgus scout scope will work but they aren't "long range." In my mind long range is 1,000 yards +. I have a crimson trace pistol scope on mine that works pretty good
Its easy for me to spend other people's money, but i would like to see you get a scope cam. This view was great and it would be awesome to see that with the rest of your shooting videos.
There is no good scope cam. They are all clunky and a hassle to use. I have a tactacam and never use it. Tactacam themselves are canceling their cameras and only doing trailcams now
Glad you took the time to finish sighting it in and showing it. Even if it made the video a little longer. It wouldn’t have been good enough for me either to have stopped 1/2 low.

Well, I sort of got the scope configured, BUT: I can't figure out how to save the date and time. Any button I press keeps changing it and I have to go through it again. Another problem is the WiFi. I downloaded the App for it and with the scope WiFi ON, the App keeps say "Connect Device", so I entered the password and it connects. If I connect my phone to the scope WiFi, the phone disconnects from the WiFi from the router. Only one WiFi connection is allowed on the phone. I guess I'll just not use the App and remove it. I also could not find a way to change the reticle except for color. The good news is the scope display works fine with my eyeglasses, unlike the cheap Chinesium night vision scope I bought, it wouldn't focus with my glasses on, only if I took them off.
@@WHOTEEWHO I finally did get the date and time set and I figured out changing the reticle to just crosshairs which I prefer. Tomorrow it's out in the backyard to Zero the scope at 50 yards as the manual says.

4 clicks per MOA (the usual), adjust the turrets for the offset. If the hit is upper right say 1.5" up and 1" right, then 6 clicks UP and 4 clicks RIGHT.

That should put you right on center. However, since .22LR is so inconsistent, this only really works with center-fire ammo.

if you have an all-in-one printer/scanner, just scan the pages and enlarge them in whatever image editor you have on your computer.
