You’re the best gun CZcams channel ever
Hi
If Taofledermaus can shoot an 11/16 ( .69 cal ) steel ball bearing out of a 12 gauge, I wonder if Scott could fire a 19mm ( .745 cal ) steel ball bearing out of a 10 gauge ? ?
... and how much MORE damage would that do ? ? lol luv ya bud, God bless
I was unsubscribed yet again. You mite want to ask folks to double check sir. That's now 4 times in 3 months it's happend to me
This is concrete evidence that Kentucky Ballistics is the best gun channel
I see what you did there
Pun gun
I would rather watch Scott, than other guntubers with 5 channels showing off their wealth.

As a Marine, that served from 1999-2007 and loves firearms, and also having been raised and worked in a family that owned one of the largest concrete forming companies in Colorado for over 70 years, I approve of this behavior.
In the 1970's, over a two year period in west central Florida, I worked in two different concrete block plants. This episode got me a little misty. 🤣🤣 Oh, wait. It was just concrete dust in my eye. Never mind.
@@jeffmccrea9347, ha! I feel your pain!
BTW, I was stationed at NAS Pensacola from 1999-2000. Worked for Lockheed and Rolls-Royce at Stennis Space Center from 2004-2012 and went to Cape Canaveral a few times to assist with Space Shuttle launches. I know those parts of Florida fairly well. My wife and I built a house in Charleston two years ago and are planning a trip to Florida soon.
Awesome State, Brother!
@@JarheadCrayonEater I lived in Pinellas and Pasco counties Florida for 27 years and worked for Minute Maid in Dunedin, (pronounced Done Edin), for 19 of those. I missed out on the military experience though. I didn't have the spine for it.....literally. M.M. retired me in 1999 after my 5th spine surgery and I've had 6 more since the last being in 2022. Six on my neck and 5 on my low back beginning in 1985. It's a shame that the military wouldn't take me. With most of my spine fused, I can now stand at attention in my sleep! Have a happy!
@@jeffmccrea9347, oh wow! You've had a rough time! Glad it finally worked out enough for you to stand at attention! That's awesome!
I'm sure we've crossed paths in those areas during my travels.

Speaking of the food industry. Long story short, I was adopted in 1977. Took a DNA test in 2015 and found my biological father, that didn't know I existed. Turns out, he's married to the real Little Debbie. No joke. They're awesome people!

Scott single handedly keeping the folding table industry afloat
I was gonna say the same thing about the chronograph industry
afold?
And helping the industry produce more robust tables that are able to take more abuse by the way he had difficulty destroying that latest one 😂
In China there's a guy saying "Why American buy so many table? We already send 10 Billion table! That's more than China!"
Don't forget the chronograph industry now either!
“ You can’t have any pudding if ya don’t eat your meat “ had me laughing. 😂

Stand still laddy !😂😂😂😂
@@eballin45 Yes. I saw them live in 1994 at the Superdome in New Orleans on the Division Bell Tour. Got lucky and got a ticket.
I really didn't expect something like this from Scott. Totally cool 😎
Has a very deep meaning, this phrase! 😅
Scott doing tests on Oobleck (corn starch and water) would be crazy! The mixture hardens on impact and it’d be so interesting to see what happens
9:55 good example of the Conservation of Momentum here. On the right of the initial impact you can see the top portion of the jug separate from the rest, and it has a fairly high RPM at first. It’s also coated in mustard right at the start, but as soon as it flings the mustard away, the rotation dramatically slows down. Pretty neat.
I love how the .50 Cal explosion jokes keep getting more subtle, to the point that new viewers might completely miss them! I'm glad you've recovered so well, and that you can find some levity in it.
yeah and I'm really glad to see he's learned from it and protects himself more!! 😌☺️ I remember before and thinking he was pretty risky (dumb) sometimes 😬
I imagine most people probably missed that the first time around
it highlights the importance of having reliable and proven ammunition for self-defense and practical use.
0:02 this guy just emerges from the woods. Okay I’m just saying, I would feel 100% safe with this guy in a apocalypse.
So several years ago, i did this with my custom 2.5 foot slingshot. Maybe not as powerful but the damage is actually pretty similar. My concrete rounds were breaking up before it even left the leather. A cpl hundred expieriments later, and i found a winning combo. Wad a small piece of metal window screen into a ball and put it in the mold. Then pour the concrete. Works as intended if you do that.
i was just thinking that these slugs needed some sort of rebar-like material to keep them together. took the words right out of my mouth
But you have to do that for every round. What does that do to the cost per round?
@@TomSmith-dp9zb they just need a copper jacket is all, fmj bullets were invented because velocitys of rifles were getting high enough the unprotected lead would rip itself apart the same exact way these concrete slugs are
I winder if fiberglass-reinforced concrete would work
I was thinking of a little tube of hardware cloth for the slug.
This man single handedly keeps the foldable lawn desk industry going.
Foldable lawn desk? You mean cheap picnic tables?
Desk? What desk?
They buy new yachts off his yearly table purchases
I use one of these as a desk and even I don't agree with your terminology. /j
Also the chronograph industry.
Scott this video was brilliant. I love the old style of CZcams content where you shove random stuff in guns. Such a great intro and a great concept. Thank you for the entertainment as always.

That one set up nicely
Scott should start making a chronograph graveyard right next to his table graveyard and a bullet graveyard
My favorite part of watching Kentrucky Ballistics is seeing how sweaty his shirt gets over the course of the video. This video did not disappoint.
I said it many moons ago. There was just something about how you treated a table on that day, I just knew a star was born....
Scott is the #1 table respector on all of CZcams
Two things:
1). The dust trail tracer that the concrete slugs leave behind is pretty cool.
2). Speaking of cool, after Scott's first shot, the slow-mo shell ejection was something he should keep around.
He’s been doing different slo-shots
"Keep around" yes, but only if it's a cool as that one
@@CheesieTreesDrewG. Understood, but I said what I said, and I mean it. Best slow-mo to date. No questions.

Scott, that applies to the midwest as well "Not the heat, it's the humidity that el get ya" same with "Wouldn't be so bad without the wind"
Only on this channel and by this man would I ever see the question of concrete bullets being used as actual projectiles being taken seriously and experimented on. This right here is the modern day equivalent to throwing rocks at each other XD

You finally found the bullets that bulletproof truck was rated for. 🤣
11:10 The concrete slug looks way cooler in slow mo. The cloud of dust trailing behind it makes it look like a meteor or a fireball spell from a wizard.
2:45 That was cooler than I could ever describe it being. The only thing that could’ve enhanced that shot is Scott catching the casing.
I’m just happy the armored truck finally could stop something
Concrete seems to be one step above a rubber bullet.
Old days rock salt was.used to ward off vegetable thieves in Garden.
Can't imagine concrete does barrel any favors.
Great video as always! A pleasure to watch.
Love ya Scott!! Been watching you for years, one of my most favorite youtubers
"It's not the heat, it's the humidity that'll getcha"
As an Alabamian, this could not be more true. Give me dry heat any day over sticky wet air 😅
I live in Western Australia. But grew up in the Tropical North. I couldn't disagree more. I eventually moved as far south as I could.
Here in Arizona it's only hitting 110-117 degrees depending on the day. Most days it's been a dry heat, but we've had a few Haboobs which brought the humidity with them.
I'm in Alabama too, and how right you are but both at the same time like now..... ugh
Scott, this might’ve been the funniest intro you’ve done yet! Keep ‘em comin’ buddy!
These concrete rounds give new meaning to the phrase "Spittin Chips"
U need the rebar in the concrete 😂
I wonder if the rounds had fiberglass in them and if not if that might keep the round from breaking up as much. It would though likely make the round lighter.
His speed in aiming is ridiculously fast and accurate. (Gun pointing down while loading a round) “This time im going to aim (Boom) a little right.” Then center punches the target.
Perhaps Scott should start a merch line of Kentucky Ballistics aprons - for when he's putting 10ga slugs into things like glue, mustard, mayonnaise etc
There's so many characters on this channel you could make an entire Kentucky Ballistics movie.
these mannequins and roosters are all friends of Skat, his life is hard, he gets out as best he can😂 and in childhood his toys were nailed to the floor from wood😂
Why do I feel like the plot would revolve around having to bail Scooter out of some form of trouble while navigating through hordes of M.A.T.T. members and a hired T-rex Mercenary? ... ... All while suffering Watermelon Time dellusions at the most inconvient yet hilarious moments
That's a good idea, a long form Kentucky Ballistics mini movie. I suggest a colab with Admin and maybe Garand Thumb. I would definitely watch that. Let's see what Scooter is up to.
Yep, that.
what if there’s deeper lore 😳😳
That barrel is DESTROYED.
The wadding probably protected it.
The cups probably protecting it well.
Spoken like someone who doesn't know how shotshells work 😂
I'm sure it's probably just fine. Especially if it didn't have rifling. He only shot it a couple times lol
I'm pretty surprised he actually shouldered it though. Man has balls that's for sure.
That little slow mo shot when you eject the first shot of the day was siiiick.
And this is why a number of shotgun breaching shells are loaded with concrete, sintered metal, or metal powder held in a binder of wax. The breaching slug hits the lock or hinge dumping all its energy into it and goes no further. The result is a destroyed hinge or lock without risking any noncombatants who may be on the other side of the door.
Always a good time with Scott at the range.
If I had to hazard a guess, the concrete bullets could be an effective home defense round.
It seems to do just enough damage without the risk of over-penetration and can be produced at home. 🤔
It's so funny cause i thought that burm looked kinda small until Scott was standing on top of it and then i realized it's much bigger than it looks, it's huge!
I love how the shirt just gets more and more sweaty
Usually Scott is silly with his slo mo shots but that first shot of the video belongs in a movie absolutely awesome!
the videos are amazing, and he is just a great guy in general! (Best channel ever)
Watching this I randomly had the thought of, How well would a bullet work after being deep fried? The thought came to me after thinking of "Kentucky fried ballistics"
It's easy to tell Scott is just having a bunch of fun with one of his favorite firearms, and I'm absolutely here for it. Do whatever you want, mate. We're here for you, not just the big guns.
You know to hold that concrete together better you can put some fiberglass hairs in it. We used to mix that in with our mud when we stuccoed houses. And you can add some aluminite to it and it'll set up faster and harder.
The lead slug hitting the mayonnaise was just, beautiful. Quite an artist there Scott
Absolutely loved that intro!

Scott, you're the table guy, so one day I wanna see you do a video testing whether or not you could use a table for cover from bullets! Get some tables of varying sizes and materials, flip them over, then shoot them to see which ones can stop the bullets from getting through!

Make a slug out of grand 1100 aluminum. Make it a hollow point and in the middle of the slug, put a steel ball for extra penetration and weight
M.A.T.T. is a force to be cautious of! I hope Scott has a plan B to keep that agency in check. 😁😁😁
This video really cements my appreciation for Scott and his experiments.
That’s really interesting, it looks like you get a heck of a lot of stopping power with concrete but without the risk of over penetration. It could be an excellent home defence round
Considering more home defense is within 7-10 feet, the concrete rounds would still be lethal on a human being.
@@JoreelIsn’t that part of the intention? You want to hurt the person who is potentially dangerous and in your home, right? I don’t know much about guns, I live in Europe.
Ya. The idea op put wasnt for "less lethal" it was talking about over penetration (the shot going through the person and then a wall and hitting an innocent)
So ya. Still effective for home defense with less chance of hitting the neighbor, lol.
@@Idiotdragon8 In most cases lethal force isn't necessary to stop an intruder. You want to stop them, but not in a way that is going to get you put away for 10-20 years. Unfortunately here in the US, there are so many DAs now that are more interested in the rights of criminals than the rights of lawful citizens. I keep both lethal and less lethal options in my home so that I can stop an intruder with whichever option is necessary at that moment.
Hey Scott! Love your content man, been watching for years now, being your favorite shotgun is the mighty 10ga, you should definitely look into getting a Remington sp10, fine piece of mechanical awesomeness.

I bet it’ll be 300 tables deep in about 5 hours
Someday I want to see you guys do a comparison between large grain rock salt loads and a shotgun and industrial diamonds and a shotgun. In other words, artificial diamonds that cost like one 100th of the price but are the same hardness. I know they're not as heavy as lead per se and don't have probably as good of energy transfer, but I would love to see a comparison.
This was super fun. I feel like melted down and reshaped stone or stone shaved down to fit into the shell would hold up a lot better. I could be wrong, but shooting stone bullets sounds awesome and I'd love to see you try it out
Honestly, this just made me want another episode of Kentucky Roulette.

Scott. Bro. I'm from Nevada. I'm in Missouri. 120° in Nevada sucks, but I can handle it. 80° in Missouri is miserable.
I hope you're right about the tables getting tougher keep up the good work❤
Big love from Poland 🇵🇱💪
Gotta ask cause Poland seems pretty based. How are the gun laws in your country?
@@Okunniger_Volker Compared to the US? Very weak law. It's quite difficult to get a permit. However, it is not impossible. There is not such a high gun culture as in the USA, so number of shooting ranges is low.
And only on them you can use weapons. Additionally, everything is quite expensive.
Fortunately, black powder weapons are available without restrictions to those over 18 years.
They can only be used at open shooting ranges. Which makes it even more difficult to use.
Summarize. People from the US who love guns would not love Poland 😅
