- Having sat idle for a year, my KTM300 would not start up! In this series, I try to figure out why it didn't start and hopefully I can sort it out myself!

This helped me greatly! Had a leaky carb bowl gasket and was putting off fixing it because it’s such a pain to pull the whole subframe. Your technique was 10x faster and worked great. Just be sure to triple check for any sand getting in the boot when you put it back on the air box.
Glad it helped! and absolutely true about washing down any sand/dirt before starting!
Nice to see ya back. Havent seen any in a while. Same situation for me. Havent ridden for a bit. The DRZ is sitting on 5 different shelves about to get a new engine after the reliable 50,000 miles I fot out of her before running out of shimming room on one intake valve. So waiting on frame from powder coat now. And a low mileage ebay engine.
Glad to see a new video! Lucky for me in the US, I have been able to ride my Drz400sm. Very fun, very reliable
I know. Except for having to jump start the dead battery, the DRZ started right up and ran fine. I'm certainly itching to take it out soon!
Projects like that are the ones that you wrap up and think to yourself "WHHYYYYY didnt i do this earlier?"
Thanks
Dude you riped that thing off nice work bud brome times ya got do what ya gotta do in those close spaces
