- DE Safety Razor by QShave is a Double edge adjustable safety razor. I have been using this for the past couple months and I found it to be a comfortable hold while shaving. The razor comes in at 3oz so it is on the heavier side. With its adjustable feature, it will allow you to chose how mild or aggressive the shave is. this Qshave a copy of the much more expensive Markur future. although this has a good design it's not perfect. The razors head is a bit bulky for my liking although I will continue to shave with it until I get another razor to try out. Mine just arrived today so first shave with it will be tonight. My current daily razor is a Muhle R41 and I have a vintage Gillette Slim Adjustable.

Excellent detailed review Justin! I use a WeiShi longhandle which I got because it clones my 1965 Lady Gillette which I rarely use now because I want to keep it in good shape. Don't really feel I need an adjustable razor and think I'd find the QShave too large and "clunky". However, impressive presentation and a good deal for the price.
I was looking at the blade your using now as my next blade purchase. Looks interesting with a long handle. Yea if you know what you like I think it's allot easyer to pick out a Razer and that's part of why I got this one. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Glad it was helpful and that you liked my video. For me when it comes to blades I think every one will be diferent and I have yet to mess around and do side by side type comparisons. I would suggest buying a multi pack that has diferent blades so that you can test then and find out what one you like.
I am glad you like this razor. So you are one of the luckier ones. I bought one more than a year ago and I am not as lucky as you, Mine has issues with unsymmetrical blade alignment and exposure. and the adjustment does not work well. I paid around 10$ at AliExpress. It is so cheap that you are bound to run into these kinds of problems. I had to dispose of mine. I still use the stand for other razors though.
I do believe that the cheeper ones all come from a single source this is one of the more expensive ones. I have seen the same issues you have mentioned on the cheeper ones on Amazon. I did have to pop the top off once and replace it so the blade would sit correct. I think no matter what with an adjustable blade you will run into issues from time to time even on the original.
Patrick Eruimy I believe the ones sold on aliexpress are basically not up to high quality so they sell the rejects cheap.

Just got this today. In fact i also purchased the clone for the EJ DE89 and the Mingshi 3000s. Glad i did not buy the original as the clone for the EJ DE 89 is really for beginners. And i passed that stage a month ago. If i have paid for the real DE89 i would have spent money better suited elsewhere. The Mingshi 2000s is just perfect for those that wants a closer more aggressive shave. Its like once you have learned how to ride a bike you get rid of your tricycle.

It looks great to shave your face and neck but it looks like a challenge to shave under your nose and lip area. IMO if the head was made a little smaller it would be a total hit. Thank you for your video.
I think It would take a little practice or adjusting how one shaves under the nose but I think its possible once you get used to it.
My first shave today. Shaved with care and anticipation of what it will be like and despite this ended up with 8 nicks and BLOOD for Africa. I hope I manage to learn how to use this QShave properly but I doubt the results will be better in future. So far I am sourly disappointed.
Awesome Congrats on your first shave!!! if your using this razor and not used to it I highly sujest starting on #1 and work your way up as its very mild. You also want to be sure your always running the blade down or across never side to side.. good luck!

I have a mild qshave TTO razor and an old schick krona that is mild. Just got into shaving and i am noticing even after 3 passes I still have spots that arent smooth.
I am thinking maybe i need more aggressive so I just ordered this to try out so i have some flexibility. Thanks for the review.
Awesome hope you find your number quickly. Also make one pass one direction and another going in a different direction. I do one down and one horizontal.

Can you use any old generic blades with this shaver?
well I wouldent use old blades as they may be rusty lol But yes any DE blade will work in any DE razor
Does it matter how you put the cap on a Qshave it seems it don’t matter it still snaps on
i didn't find that it matters at all so im sure what ever way you put it on it should work.

I find mine too aggressive for me
I think you can squees the top down and turn the handle and get a less aggressive shave with that.. might be worth a shot. (just learned this form Cincy shaves)
