  • Hello everyone! I’m Ryusei.
    Today I made pork ginger, which is the one of most popular homemade dish. Actually there’re so many way to make it. And today I used pork belly, but we can make it with other parts of pork or chicken too. But I’m sure pork belly is very easy to make it juicy.

    Recipe
    Pork belly    300 grams
    Ginger     20 grams
    Soy sauce   30 grams
    ※soy sauce except for marinating  10 grams
    Mirin     30 grams
    Sake     30 grams
    Sugar     15 grams
    onion    1
    Cabbage   1/2
    ※ginger ale version
    ginger ale    60 grams
    Soy sauce   30 grams
    ※soy sauce except for marinating  10 grams
    Sugar     10 grams

    Your knife skills to slice the cabbage so very fine is excellent. I am still trying to learn to slice evenly and fine like you do. It takes a lot of time, effort, patience, and practice. This is another fantastic video! Domi arigato! :D

    Thank you for your videos! Also very big thank you for including a substitute for ingredients. Mirin and sake is hard to come by in my country but ginger ale is cheap and easy to come by :)

      We usually eat with them plus tomatoes or some vegetables and miso soup. If we go to casual and traditional restaurant ,they sometimes serve Japanese pickles “Nukaduke”!! It’s also good!

    The pork turned out quite caramelised,what about if we use good cut of beef,as the cooking method is quick. What type of cooking oil do you use in your kitchen,may I ask?Thank you.
