Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. It is the twentieth game in the Call of Duty franchise, and the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Its first teaser was released on August 7th, 2023 and will be fully revealed on August 17th, 2023 in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 as part of Season Five live event, while the game will be fully released on November 10th, 2023. - Hry
Black Ops VI makes more sense to me because of Cold War. For marketing purposes V would make sense to be the next in line on the shelf especially playing off the orange color way. I'm not really sure what they plan on doing but will be covering it on June 9th for sure!

i’m very excited for this year’s CoD, Treyarch is my favorite studio, I loved Cold War and I still play Cold War to this day

I mean a number makes more sense than calling it gulf war because the gulf war was a smaller war time span wise and there was only so many locations that war was actually fought so the gulf war title works for the campaign but if they want to do maps in different places for multiplayer and I doubt they’d make their post launch story and seasons all be set in the gulf war. The Cold War title worked because that era spanned 35-40 years in real life so any story elements or maps they made could realistically all be set during the Cold War. Calling it bo5 or 6 means they can do the gulf war but it doesn’t have to be the main focus of the entire game

This might be the first time I'm a lil excited for a COD game in a while. Cold War had its issues but it was great game (especially zombies) during the pandemic era. So here's hoping it might look cool
Can’t wait for this. I hope round based zombies is back and it actually feels like zombies. I haven’t played zombies since Cold War. And I’m super excited for multiplayer and I’m hoping that still feels like black ops.

I think Black Ops X would be a good title. X being the roman numeral for 10 (t10 = Treyarch's 10th game) AND because it shows the game is in a different timeline than OG Black Ops.
(Also it would be abbreviated as BOX, which is fitting for Microsoft owning it... xBOX)

Honestly can’t wait for this game. 4 year DEV cycle plus Round Based Zombies sounds pretty intriguing
I just want classic round base zombies with a crew that has personality to follow. Also starter pistols spawn cause the whole create your starter gun kinda ruins progression.

I'm cautiously optimistic. It's not that I don't trust treyarch, but I'm wary of sbmm, pay to win bundles, and the like. My big wish is that the game feels good, but different to Modern Warfare. It's a bit unrealistic, but I kinda want to experience a year of classic movement again. I feel like CoD has become so tech heavy in recent years and I'm ready for a shift towards more strategic gameplay.

I’m only getting this game if it comes on gamepass. Honestly MWIII has been such a bust for me and it’s not even the game’s fault. I’ve been playing since BO2 back when I was 12 and now I’m 19, in college and with a part time job and I just can’t stand cod in its current state anymore
