Thanks Bro! After following your instructions, this is the 1st time I've ever been successful in getting that DeScale light to go off. (I've thrown away and/or returned multiple machines in the past due to this.
Very helpful since I lost the instructions for my Keurig. The filter is a charcoal filter which adsorbs organic compounds (pesticides), chlorine, and chloramines from the water supply. There may be some mechanical filtration, but the particles the filter removes would be large enough to see. Charcoal filters do not remove scale-forming minerals.
