    Awesome! I watched many videos and nothing was working...until this:) Water was dripping out of several areas from the k cup dispenser area when brewing. Pathetically weak center stream of coffee and also plain water coming out from other areas as well in the cup/dispenser area. I thought it might be a bad seal on the 5 prong gasket. I pulled the gasket completely off that surrounds the 5 needles..washed it well..and then used a paperclip to poke through all holes on the pins and in the cup dispenser just like you show on your video. I found the added step of taking the gasket off made it super easy to see the pinholes. Then when I was done "poking" the holes, I reseated the seal back on the pins. Works amazing now! Thanks again for your help:)

    We did the descale as you directed. Then the brewer would only put out a few ounces then turn off. We followed these instructions to clean the needles and now we tell it 10 ounces and get 10 ounces! Amazing. Thank you so much!

    Liked and subscribed. Thanks so much for showing how to unclog the needles. My daughter overworks the Keurig, it was making a loud noise when brewing over ice. I didn’t know there is a needle on the bottom, and that you can clean out the four on the top ( I only knew about the middle one on the top). This video helped so much. ❤️

    It's weird...but I tried everything this morning. I descaled (with Keurig's descaler), brewed only water (which worked) and even soaked the lower needled compartment in hot water. However, it still wouldn't brew a K-cup. Nothing that I tried worked. But, VERY THANKFULLY, your steps worked. The puzzling thing for me is that this is the first clogged needle on a Keurig that I have ever had (and this is my third Keurig machine). In fact, this one is just three months old.

    Every time I have the least trouble with my Keurig and call support they just say throw it away and send a new one. 5 in 1 in a half years. Not good business practice. It’s listed for $189. One I just got yesterday. It’s crazy. The first pod I tried was crooked and it was all grounds. My new one should be here in a couple days. My first 2 were because the descale light wasn’t turning off after I ran the solution and I found your video by mistake. I wasn’t putting them in descale mode first. 😂 So after customer support couldn’t help me here I am again. A quick paper clip to the needles and perfect cup of coffee. I’d rather them replace my wasted pods and I’ll just got to you. Now I have 5 Keurig k supreme plus. Maybe I’ll start a coffee shop. With my luck with Keurig I probably need a spare though. Thank you for your videos. I have 2 that won’t power on. Just waiting for my husband to help me take those apart to try reset. I’ll be stocking up on paper clips. It seems to be the cure all.

    Hey JaD, you can also use those tiny proxy brushes sold in the toothpaste aisle. Get the smallest one for fitting between teeth that are very close together.

    If all else fails, some southern engineering might help. Loved the way ours does coffee when it worked and didn’t leak after needles were cleaned. I raised the k cup holder in the front by using a nickel and two pennies underneath two sides in the front. This restored the units integrity. Please do this at your own risk after following all cleaning instructions. This was only a last ditch effort before replacing the unit. The unit worked well for over a year. This must be a design flaw.

    As you know from my other postings I recently bought a Supreme Plus Smart unit. Worked great the first week or so. Now its blowing a code 11, "please fill with water" when the water container is full. Short story is I tried all of the troubleshooting and nothing has worked. I even reset it and unplugged for hours and still not working. Basically the pump is losing prime. I called Keurig twice and on the second call they acquiesced and is sending me a new machine. Very pleased that they are sending a replacement, but disappointed with the workmanship. They determined that the pump is faulty and it is a known problem. I looked on ebay and found an exact OEM replacement that I might try and repair it myself. If it works I'll continue to use it and keep the replacement in storage. Anyway, that been my experience thus far. I do love the brewer....when it works.

      Well after a few attempts of cleaning and making many hot cups of water and coffee the code 11 is gone and the brewer is working great ...for now. I'll continue to use it and see how it does. I think the water inlet where the container sets into may have been blocked.

    to get your k-cup to work push down on the cup when you put it in and you will hear a pop, this should make the coffee flow out better, works for me.

    One of the 5 water jets does NOT work on My Keurig® K-Supreme Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker and it's the Second machine that this has happened with...is this normal??? I use the My K cup with my Decafe organic special coffee. The top left is always clogged cause the jet there does not work since it was Brand New and I have used a wire to clean it out several times which never worked and returned and got a New same machine that does the same on the same jet. Just lived with it. Any help will be Grateful.

    The rubber with 5 holes over 5 needles came loose so I took off and cleaned the rubber.is the rubber piece supposed to be sealed.

    Thank you for this video! I'm currentlty seeing an issue where I normally brew a strong 8 oz cup but this time I tried to brew a strong 6 oz but it was as short cup, probably only an ounce or two... It's weird because I did the 8 oz again after and it seemed to be working fine, only when I switched to the 6 oz was it an issue. Any tips? Thanks again!

    If you've done this and still having issues it could be your k cup. I've noticed ones that are plastic top type do not work with this keurig at all. There are also some that have foil but also a thin layer of plastic underneath(sams brand). With those you have to open and close the keurig several times to make sure holes were poked for each of the 5 nozzles. If not what happens is water will start pouring all over because it can't get in the k cup. I love the idea and the way this thing brews but man is it a real headache compared to the old one nozzle design. Also coffee always splashes EVERYWHERE!

    When cold my machine would brew 12oz regardless of the setting. Works fine if i run 4oz through it then put a k cup in then brew. Kuerig is sending me a new unit. Will try this and see if it helps

    Good job on your videos. I noticed on your videos using a
    Keurig My K-Cup Universal Reusable Filter that at the end of the brew, water puddles on top of the Reusable Filter and water drips out of the bottom along with a stream of coffee. I've tried with and without the red plug and I still get puddling water.Have you ever tried replacing the Upper Needle Seal Gasket for Keurig K SUPREME? Would a new gasket help?

      Try carefully placing four penny or dime coins around underneath the removable plastic k-cup holder which slightly raises the holder just a bit. This *should* help make a slightly better seal up at your needles' rubber gaskets. Make sure the k-cup holder is perfectly level on all four coins before using.

    I cleaned the needles then checked it out. After brewing a cup (that wasn't the ounces 10 oz) the descale light started flashing. Even though it's been less than a month since I descaled last, I got ready to descale again. When I turned my attention back to my coffee maker it was already to brew. 24 hours later...I brew a cup (not the amount indicated) and then "descale" starts flashing. Help! This is my second unit in less than two years.

    Hello - I have watched your video several times, but have not had success with our Keurig Supreme, Several weeks ago, the coffee coming out of the bottom into the cup would have additional streams of clear water coming out near the front as well as the one in the center (which was coffee). This made for a diluted cup of coffee and also we had to start using a larger cup so the clear seepage would go into the cup. After watching your video, I went through all of the steps about cleaning the five upper needles and still get the same result.. Looking at the top of the pod after brewing, it appears that the two front needles do not pierce the pod deep enough and the water from those two needles is flowing across the top of the pod and running down into the cup as clear water. Is there an adjustment for this situation, so those two needles will pierce deeper ? I thought the rubber gasket may be the culprit, but it is good and pliable, and I don't think it is causing the issue. Thanks for any suggestions you may have,

    I may have found a potential fix / workaround for those having problems even after cleaning all needle ports and descaling. It's not perfect but might get you a full cup on the first try. Try filling your water tank half-way up with cold water. Next add some hot water from an electric kettle to fill it the rest of the way. This should create a fairly warm to the touch but not hot tank full of water. Now try and brew a full 12 oz cup and see if that works. It also seems to help the more difficult to brew higher temp/strength settings. I have no idea why incoming water temperature would effect the backpressure on the pump but it seems to make a big difference. I do not suggest using hot tap water direct from the faucet because it may have rust from your water heater and that is not healthy. Use an electric kettle instead. This is an annoying extra step but seems to do the trick. Please let me know with a reply if this workaround helps you get a full cup on the first try.

    Hi Dad!! I just watched this video after your descaling video. My Keurig was working well. Despite using my kitchen lights, a flashlight, my glasses, & a magnifying glass, I could not find holes in the upper needles. Was this feature possibly added to the Plus after the k-Supreme? My K is a Supreme only. Thanks, Dad.

      The Keurig K Supreme Models have a history of this problem. The unit can overheat and trip the thermostat on the inside of the machine. I made a video on how to open up your Keurig and reset the thermostat with a paperclip. But it requires you to open it up. This is a link to the video czcams.com/video/IdE_4NIQEro/video.html If this does not fix the problem or you are not able to open it up, I would call Keurig 866-901-2739, They are aware of this problem and should replace you unit free of charge. Lot of other viewers have had this same problem during a descale the machine has to run a lot of cycles to run the solution through the machine then the rinse cycles. It is a good idea in the future to let the machine sit for 30 min before you start the rinse cycle, but you have to make sure the machine stays in descale mode or it will not turn you light out at the end of the rinse. Also some K Supreme the low water light does not come on and you might run the machine dry which can also cause the thermostat to trip. In the case of the low water light not coming on you have to stop the process and start all over, but this time you can just use water on both the first part and rinse cycle. The machine has to see the low water light come on for the logic in the descale mode to complete and turn the light off.

    So on my machine the little piece under the basket has a spring on it, it allows to get a coffee before it's done brewing come off can't figure out how to put it back together? Just wondering if you know

    My center needle has what looks like black plastic blocking the holes on all sides which prevents the paper clip to enter. I've pressed hard and it's fixed and does not move.
    What is that and are they supposed to be there?

    I've had mine almost a year and it just started sputtering out 1-2 ounces. I"ve always descaled. This time after descaling (twice), it's still only 1-2 ounces. I've cleaned the needles with a paper clip several times, but the issue remains. I can hear the pump. Frustrating! Any additional hints?

      I have had viewers say they had a blocked water tube in the back. It comes apart kind of easy, and you can check the water lines. maybe pull one off around the pump, seems some people find chunks of hard water in the lines, it does not take much to cause problems. czcams.com/video/wKargTCNx9E/video.html

    My kcup supreme can't turn back on, tried to unplugged for over 1 hour and tried to plugged in different outlet still can't turn back on. Already followed what you taught about using paper clip to clean those needle part, just no power at all.

      This could be a known issue Keurig has with this model of Keurig. I would call Keurig Customer Care at 866-901-2739. I have had other viewers with the same thing.     A very small sewing needle was necessary to clean the steel side needles and a regular paperclip for the center needle. And finally a good cup of coffee.

    My kcup supreme keeps telling me I need to descale even though I’ve descaled and cleaned the needles. Do you have any idea why or what I could do about it? Do you think it could be from the reservoir? I am using the filter, but not the keurig brand.

      Keurig has changed the way you descale your coffee maker. You have to put the machine in descale mode and follow it all the way through to get the descale light to go out.
      step by step instructions see below. You have to follow them all the way through.
      I hope this helps. put the descale solution in the tank. You have to put the machine in descale mode. First leave the machine plugged in, then turn the power button off. Press and hold the 8oz and 12oz button for 3 seconds till the big k brew button starts flashing. This puts it into descale mode. The only thing you will see is the big k button light on. the power button does not light up. press the k button and it will run 12 oz through the machine. keep pressing the k button till the add water light comes on. don't touch anything just put fresh water in the reservoir and the add water light will go out and the big k button will start flashing again. press the big k button to start the machine again this time it will be rinsing the machine at 12oz each time you press the button. keep pressing the k button till the add water light comes on again. Once you fill it up with water again it will come out of descale mode and now you are ready to use it again. turn it on and the descale light should be out. Let me know how it goes. YOU GOT THIS!!!!

      @@JustADad I followed your steps, and the descale light is still blinking. I have descaled before and had no problem with the descale mode. Now it just won’t go out of descale mode. Very frustrating.

      @@NitrosMom074You probably have your machine fixed by now, but for the others I would descale again using the keurig brand descaling solution. The machine probably recognizes some sediment build up. If that didn't work, do a factory reset.
      If that doesn't work, call keurig customer service.

    I have a brand new one of these and after sitting for several hours it won’t turn back on no matter what but no push or try. I have to unplug the unit plug it back in and then it will work for a short period of time it’s very strange

      The Keurig K Supreme Models have a history of this problem. The unit can overheat and trip the thermostat on the inside of the machine. I made a video on how to open up your Keurig and reset the thermostat with a paperclip. But it requires you to open it up. This is a link to the video czcams.com/video/IdE_4NIQEro/video.html If this does not fix the problem or you are not able to open it up, I would call Keurig 866-901-2739, They are aware of this problem and should replace you unit free of charge. Lot of other viewers have had this same problem during a descale the machine has to run a lot of cycles to run the solution through the machine then the rinse cycles. It is a good idea in the future to let the machine sit for 30 min before you start the rinse cycle, but you have to make sure the machine stays in descale mode or it will not turn you light out at the end of the rinse. Also some K Supreme the low water light does not come on and you might run the machine dry which can also cause the thermostat to trip. In the case of the low water light not coming on you have to stop the process and start all over, but this time you can just use water on both the first part and rinse cycle. The machine has to see the low water light come on for the logic in the descale mode to complete and turn the light off.

    Gave this a try, my problem is my machine makes the coffee one size too small. If I select 8 oz it makes 6 oz. Mine needs either reset or calibration 😒. Since it is a new machine will give the company a call.

      Yes, Everytime you brew no matter what size or temp you select Hot Water comes out of all 5 needles.

    Great video! I have the Supreme and when I'm brewing a k cup, a lot of water streams out. The machine doesn't seem to be closing all the way. The center and back needles are puncturing the cup, but the front two are not, causing the overflow. Do you have any advice on how to fix that, or do you think it's actually broken? Thanks!

      This could be a known issue Keurig has with the lower needle basket. I would call Keurig customer care at 866-901-2739. they have great customer service. It sounds like your bottom needle basket needs replaced. These can become distorted over time from the heat or it might not have been made correctly. They can send you a new one its not that big of a part and its easy to change.

      I have the exact same problem except I use the reusable filters because I prefer using my own coffee not some free dried crystal nonsense. No cleaning step helps at all, because the needles literally do not close all the way. Going to try ordering a new reusable filter but I have only had this one 5 months and I even cycle between two of them? I can't help but think it is the actual lid itself that has deformed not the filter, and replacing actual parts of the lid not the easily removable basket, can not possibly be easy.

      @@JustADad That won't work for me. When you use the kuerig universal reusable cups with the K Supreme Plus you have to remove the actual center plastic basket from the machine to begin with. So if anything has warped it is either the cups themselves, or the actual plastic plate the cups sit in. I am going to try a different reusable cup from off brand that will work with the center basket to see if that helps.

    The dreaded problem where the water reservoir was not placed back properly and the machine decided to quit on me after that. Wonder if there is any solution to this or I am sol.

      Customer service said they’ll send another since still under warranty but if the water reservoir is not in place, it’ll suck air and stops. Dead. They asked me to discard it but I plan to take it apart and see what went wrong. It’s just air bubble or what !

      @@JustADad dude, I did once and then my friend did it too! Thank God it’s still under warranty! They leave you a warning but never have I ever thought that simply error (a wire for a different appliance got between the reservoir and the base where it should be placed). Surprisingly they do warn you when the water level is low but not when the pitcher isn’t in place. It seems they didn’t pilot this one properly!

      Mine will not turn on too. A couple weeks ago I descale the machine twice ; then it said to descale it again . I ignore the descale button about three times (making coffee )now it’s not turning on.

      Not really sure but I am sure you have tried to unplug it and let it sit for a day or too. You could try holding down the 8oz and 12oz button at the same time with the power switch off. or call keurig Customer support 866-901-2739

      Also, make sure the outlet still works. That has happened to me in the past. With the older models, I have gone through at least SIX Keurig brewers! I was hoping the new model would work longer, and it has-until today. Will try Just a Dad’s techniques to see if that helps. Good luck!

    I can’t brew more than 1 cup and then it says add water. I can’t brew a second cup after the first one. I hate it.

    This is my second Keurig Coffee Brewer. czcams.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first one lasted 6 years. It worked beautifully until the day it didn't. It was hard to go back to the drip coffee for a couple of days while I waited on my Keurig to get here. There is a huge difference in the taste. Keurig makes a really good cup of coffee. This new one is a little different from my old one. I find putting the water filter in was easier than on the old one. Attaching the water reservoir was also a little different but once I figured it out, it too was easier. This new one has the auto off feature but is not programmable like the old one. Only three cup sizes instead of four. The odd thing for me was how much lighter in weight this one is compared to my old one. More plastic and much less metal in the construction of this one. The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.

      I would call Keurig customer care at 866-901-2739. This could be a known issue Keurig has with this model of Keurig. I have had other viewers with the same thing. When they called Keurig some of them said Keurig knew about this issue and sent them a new Keurig. They have great customer service. I think you will need proof of Purchase. So sorry this happened. I hate it when someone follows my directions and then it breaks their machine. I am so sorry.
