OK. I went way back to last year to the beginning video about the Diamond T to see a side view with the body together. It looks like if you leave the grill, hood, fenders, and those little triangles between the hood and fenders intact as they are, then you can slide the body back say six inches. Give or take a couple inches. This will allow you to slide the engine back a little more, independently. Then you will have more room on the front, back, and sides of the engine. The new empty space can be filled with a sort of a false cowl or cowl extension. The firewall can be left stock and possibly the floorboard baring transmission interference. If you engineer room to get your hands in the engine compartment everywhere to work on things, you will be quite a bit happier later. This is a fine project. Best wishes and take care.
Thanks, I've pretty much got the spacing issues solved. I've got the fenders lined up, moved the engine back 2" so I have room for a radiator, intercooler and fan.:) I did have to cut the firewall, but I'll make a new one that will look the part.:)
Idea for radiator add a surge tank for radiator cap and mount on fire wall also charge air could go air to water and take up less space maybe adapt 8V92 after cooler for that job. Good luck she looks good
Looking good looks like it's gonna come together quite nicely I don't know if that company vintage air does HVAC system with the heater and air conditioning might be an easier option
Going to build up a Silver Series engine with a turbo, going to try and get 280 HP smoke free.:) Non turbo is only 140HP, just too slow going up the mountains.:)
This channel is going to blow up soon, good content with original ideas
Thanks.:)
What a Beautiful truck! You have amazing talent! Thanks for keeping us updated! Can’t wait to watch this entire build.
Thanks 👍
That old truck looks amazing.

I really cannot wait to see how it turns out! What color are you thinking about painting it and will the bed be wood or metal?
Going to be red with green trim and black fenders.:) Going for the patina look if I can pull it off.:)
I'm planning a flat deck with wooden decking.:) This is the look I'm going for.:) czcams.com/video/qvQYT9vaEhM/video.html

Yes, the throttle will be cable controlled.:)
Go non turbo
Going to build up a Silver Series engine with a turbo, going to try and get 280 HP smoke free.:) Non turbo is only 140HP, just too slow going up the mountains.:)
