Every time I start up my computer I think to myself "I wonder what bullshit the EA app will pull on me this time"
Just another "if it ain't broke, don't fix it scenarios". With ORIGIN we didn't need to be online to play the Sims...but with EA we now do. Go figure. SUPPOSEDLY you could play OFFLINE on the EA app? Really? Because I have never been able to.
I thought I was crazy when it kept asking me to sign back into the launcher after I turn my PC on every time. I thought I had to do it because I told it not to launch on start up but every other app that I have done this to doesn't need me to login every damn time.

This is why I prefer buying the packs on steam so then I don't need to worry about this. Anyways I hope it works again for everyone who is struggling with the ea app thing

I think games that are on Steam or Epic shouldn't have extra launchers. I think every game has to have its app from the store where it was purchased.

I have not yet downloaded this app, feel to scared to do so. Believe I need to do it soon. I just feel it will be troubles and I will loose my games. Wonder why they needed to remove Origin, that one worked.

I only have problem with the game itself. It's unplayable for me right now even though my games are still there. It crashes, the menus are all glitched. And my sims autonomously induce mean interactions with other sims no matter the relationship

@@WilliamMullaney I have disabled mods and tried new save files, uninstalled and reinstalled, tried the mods again. Still pretty much unplayable. It happened ever since the latest update. My child sim aged up into a teen and became invisible, and my ovens catch fire every second time my sims use it, no matter the cooking skill, placement, quality and upgrades. I don’t know what to do haha

I had to redownload every single pack but it was still taking up all the space so it said I didn’t have enough space. Used it as an excuse and completely factory reset my PC over the weekend to get a fresh start. 💀
So glad to have pirated everything ea is never getting money from me

I wish i had been more comfortable with not paying for games when I was younger. Now I feel like because I’ve spent so much money over the years I can’t back out from it now
I've had the same problem with packs where I couldn't go into my save files couse "sorry, no you've got no packs. It'll break" even though the menu screen showed that wow I have what I own.
But I managed to fix it! When you go into the game profile on the ea app there's a "repair" option. It took an hour but worked for me
The EA app also seems to take up SO MUCH SPACE when it comes to sims updates. I NEVER had issues with disk space until I got the EA app.
I JUST BOUGHT the horse one and the maximalist one. The horse wallpapers show up, but no HORSE NEIGHBORHOOD.

Wow yeah its pretty vast, most of my audience is between 18 and 34 with some higher, funnily enough though, almost no one under 18
@@WilliamMullaney my daughters watched me play growing up, now miss 19 and myself both play pretty avidily, we love sharing our builds and talking over what each will add to our packs and love giving each other really hard challanges. its a bonding thing for us..my favourite is building and adding them to the gallery. im heading towards a thousand Dl"s. (Im just a nobody lol) but im ok with that.

I don’t think LBY or any new game is going to destroy TS4; instead TS4 is going to implode on itself. Look at the latest release. Is there a reason they didn’t just "refresh" one of the older packs with horses? Why make a whole expansion pack just horses and not add many extra features? Remember when Pets expansions used to come to cats, dogs, horses AND small pets? TS4 hasn't wowed me since Cottage Living. DHD and MWS were so uninspiring and buggy. I think Werewolves was the only pack really worth buying since the pandemic, but HSY broke Werewolves. Horses have too little gameplay for the price. Kits are lackluster. I didn’t even get the free desert pack because it looked so bland.
