If you watch much CZcams, you would be led to believe that the town is overrun by foreigners. I'm not sure if I saw any at all. Or do they avoid being with town people?
No, they are few.
I finally saw two Expats but I was under the false impression the city was inundated with foreigners.

Where are the favelas neighborhoods in Dumaguete? what are they called and how can I find them?
There are no favelas in Dumaguete, The City is near the coast and far from the mountains. If you mean a slums? they are usually located near the river
@KadangPinasTours thank you🙏yes I mean the slums. You mean they beginning from the Bell Church near by the riverbridge and going up to the river?
Pasko pa sila? O advance Pasko? 😂😂

I have lived in Dumaguete for 6 years my main problem is there is not a reliable restaurant here getting served half melted ice cream and the waitress tells you someone pulled the plug out and I say so why didn't you ask me before serving. And after thé third time it happened we don't go back. hit or miss the best I can find..The staff don't know about foreign food and getting a high priced pizza with no sauce and almost no cheese is a pain so don't visit restaurants now. When they say no coffee sir cause machine broken but I say so go get some instant coffee and
make coffee ..Schnitzels cut with the grain not across the grain local beef is tough so it is inedible but staff have no idea and foreign owners no idea also. I try to get a glass of wine but now many are pouring 6 to 8 glasses to bottle and after I complain should be 4 glasses to bottle I have had them return after putting water in the wine.L have told some they are a disgrace to the Philippines but they could care less.
Do not come in that place, don't ever return. Better leave this country..true? 😂😂😂
After 6 years….you are still complaining?? 😂
