Here we have a great example of how to sling load using SRS in DCS. All footage was filmed online and live in the DCS Rotorheads Server. Watch for smooth approaches and practice when to pull power with your collective. Here you can see the importance of communication. Eagle Dynamics does a great job with each aircraft's flight models, which includes sling loading in the Hip. Hopefully, you are able to see something new or fun in this video. Keep an eye out for more content in the future. The DCS AH-64D Apache is imminent and we are jumping out of our boots to get in that baby soon! Stay tuned and as always, have a great day!
TLDR: Hope you enjoyed our video! - Hry
I flew two class 3/4 loads into Sadr City at night in 2006. Bring your A game because there are no wind circles or go-arounds! B game and below gets their next of kin called.
Great flying!
Thank you for watching, friend!
Good to see the hip getting some love, it serves as such a versatile role. I love piloting this bird...Thanks
We completely agree. The Mi-8 is awesome! Cheers!
Awesome video. We definitely need more experienced players like you sharing videos. Thanks again.
Thank you, Friend! We plan to make more live content post new year!
Nice video! I'm trying to learn how to sling load with the Mi-24, and it really is difficult
This is a difficult task as the HIP is heavy and has long rotor blades! You can do this!
Thanks for watching, enjoy!
I would love to fly armed escort for you guys!
We don't have a scheduled time we fly, sadly. You can often find us in Rotor Heads on the weekends though! We are there on SRS as well, keep an eye out and say hi if you see us!!
Thank you for watching, friend!
Great video, but why can't Americans pronounce HOVER properly? Drives me insane. It's not HUVVER its HOVER. OV not UV....grrr rant over....... :P
Hahahaha, at least we learned what a Kilometer is :)
Thank you for watching, friend!
