Some captains seriously need to get over their superiority complexes and learn to listen to their first officers.
I think a factor here is that the complicated fuel systems multi engine planes used to have, was not an issue when aircraft had a flight engineer. When two pilot crews became the norm, they still had the tasks that used to be handled by the engineer.
Agreed...damn the catch-penny airlines and the all too easily led aircraft designers & aviation authorities! The Flight Engineer should make a return and out should go: the side stick, fly-by-wire and the attitude that computers should have ultimate control rather than the men in the cockpit.
That poor FO. He knew his life was coming to an end. You can just feel it in the way that he keeps anxiously mentioning the weird way the plane was handling. He must have been terrified when he died. He really didn't deserve to die because of the Captains fck up.
Bet that captain ended up living with some extreme guilt for causing the death of his FO right beside him.

I don’t think Maverick ever really got over killing Goose.
eerie how captain told FO "we'll check the plane when we land" and the FO did not survive the landing... it's like reverse foreshadowing
@@redblade8160 Hope that's a joke.
@@fjlkagudpgo4884 The FO knew he was going to die. Let me rephrase that. He knew something was going horribly wrong. He prob felt this crazy doom creep over him. I really feel bad for him. He was probably terrified the whole way to his death.
Best air crash show on youtube!
Wifh voiceover and beautiful scenery, i agree
Best aviation channel!!! No useless long introduction, doesn't say plz subscribe, nor have ads. Great job!!
One of the best aviation accident channels on CZcams! Your work is excellent. Keep it up! :)
Thanks for your attention to detail. Love your videos. I hate the outcome!
Love your work 👍 you deserve more subs! They'll come.
This is why you should always fly wearing a parachute. Strapping some fire extinguishers to your legs might also help.
Don’t forget your GoPro and selfie stick!
So unfair that the one who died was the one NOT at fault.
@@redblade8160 No, I'm just gonna complain about it on the internet.
@@redblade8160 No, I just want to complain about how unfair it is. No killing, just complaining.
@@redblade8160 Do you not understand the concept of " comments". Marie made a comment ,she wasn't demanding anything. You need to grow up.
Great vid!
Comment for the algorithm, love your work
Where is the professionalism? The ending conclusion is great.
When crossdressing one should always put a reminder out like an upside down coffee cup on the control wheel horn or handle...you should always be nervous when crossfeeding
Autocorrect gotcha there I think mate "When crossdressing one should..."
Sidenote, I think you're right.
I don't see the benefit of crossdressing when piloting an aircraft.
Do you think crossdressing would have prevented the crash?
I think crossdressing solves many problems. Crossfeeding on the other can piss the feeder off or get your FO killed!
@@kcindc5539 femboys are simply better pilots
There are so many things you do super well so this is not critique, just a few suggestions.
- Try using more B-footage (more footage outside the cockpit) TheFlightChannel do a pretty good job at this which you can look at.
- Make episodes longer, like around 20 min by slowing down the tempo in the scenes and between them. Scenes where nothing happens can build just as much of a mood or suspense.
- In the end it’s about entertaining the audience so just like shows like ACI you can write your own dialogue between pilots etc as long as you get the important parts in there.
- Get the latest Microsoft simulator to create great footage.
- In the first episodes you used maps and showed where the airplane was. This is great for the viewer to understand the conditions, eg over water, populated areas etc.
- Love your voice overs and the dialogue between the pilots. Sometime there’s real ATC recordings. Would be pretty cool to cut them in there.
Anyways just a few things a the top of my mind.
I guess TheFlightChannel is your biggest competitor, good channel but it sucks just reading of a screen. With you voice over and pilot dialogue etc I don’t think they stand a chance.
PS. I know each episode is a lot of work so thanks for making them. Can’t wait for the next one and I will do my best to spread the word 👍😊
Thanks for the feedback mate. I will definitely take this on board. The videos do take a while to produce and since this is only a side project for me at this point, I can only release them about once a month or so.
I greatly appreciate the support.
Definitely agree! For the voice overs, maybe also consider maybe varying voice volume if that makes sense. Most of the audio sounds like it was very quietly whispered into a mic. I totally get it though if you don't want to scare your neighbors by shouting "WE'RE GOING DOWN!!!" (There are also tools to equalize loud audio or whatever the term is)
Not sure how the Captain actually felt but considering the crash is pretty much laid as his feet, if he has a conscious, its probably really eating him up.
Fallout airplane, looks atomic powered!
I love this shit can't get enough of it . Looking forward too seeing 👀 what you put out next thank you
That captain would be so filled with guilt and kicking himself. FO was not in the wrong.
Please do the story of Pan American flight 6
I know they are trying to save a dollar but you need to go back having three people in the cockpit
Crossfeeding damn spell correct

Disoriented... what is DisorientATED?
This captain merely killed his FO. I wonder how he lives knowing that?..
the minor hiccup didn't age well @@EpicJoshua314
It's not a "50 tonne" aircraft.
Make up your mind and either use metric or imperial.
Idiot captain, he is the on ethat should not have survived, the first officer deserved to survive.
Bro wtf, the captain "shouldn't have survived"????? He made mistakes that costed another person's life, everybody makes mistakes, even professional pilots. In aviation, there is no "he deserved to die/he deserved to live". It's already tragic that one person lost their life, but to say another person should've died instead is absurd and really apathetic. Think thrice before typing a comment so ridiculously dumb.
@@danielnovitadubin8272 Agree there are some instances where the pilot's actions caused their death e.g. in KLM 433 ultimately if the captain had worn his shoulder harness he would have survived, but that doesn't mean their actions warranted death.
