Some captains seriously need to get over their superiority complexes and learn to listen to their first officers.

I think a factor here is that the complicated fuel systems multi engine planes used to have, was not an issue when aircraft had a flight engineer. When two pilot crews became the norm, they still had the tasks that used to be handled by the engineer.

Agreed...damn the catch-penny airlines and the all too easily led aircraft designers & aviation authorities! The Flight Engineer should make a return and out should go: the side stick, fly-by-wire and the attitude that computers should have ultimate control rather than the men in the cockpit.

That poor FO. He knew his life was coming to an end. You can just feel it in the way that he keeps anxiously mentioning the weird way the plane was handling. He must have been terrified when he died. He really didn't deserve to die because of the Captains fck up.

There are so many things you do super well so this is not critique, just a few suggestions.
    - Try using more B-footage (more footage outside the cockpit) TheFlightChannel do a pretty good job at this which you can look at.
    - Make episodes longer, like around 20 min by slowing down the tempo in the scenes and between them. Scenes where nothing happens can build just as much of a mood or suspense.
    - In the end it’s about entertaining the audience so just like shows like ACI you can write your own dialogue between pilots etc as long as you get the important parts in there.
    - Get the latest Microsoft simulator to create great footage.
    - In the first episodes you used maps and showed where the airplane was. This is great for the viewer to understand the conditions, eg over water, populated areas etc.
    - Love your voice overs and the dialogue between the pilots. Sometime there’s real ATC recordings. Would be pretty cool to cut them in there.
Anyways just a few things a the top of my mind.
I guess TheFlightChannel is your biggest competitor, good channel but it sucks just reading of a screen. With you voice over and pilot dialogue etc I don’t think they stand a chance.
PS. I know each episode is a lot of work so thanks for making them. Can’t wait for the next one and I will do my best to spread the word 👍😊

Definitely agree! For the voice overs, maybe also consider maybe varying voice volume if that makes sense. Most of the audio sounds like it was very quietly whispered into a mic. I totally get it though if you don't want to scare your neighbors by shouting "WE'RE GOING DOWN!!!" (There are also tools to equalize loud audio or whatever the term is)

Bro wtf, the captain "shouldn't have survived"????? He made mistakes that costed another person's life, everybody makes mistakes, even professional pilots. In aviation, there is no "he deserved to die/he deserved to live". It's already tragic that one person lost their life, but to say another person should've died instead is absurd and really apathetic. Think thrice before typing a comment so ridiculously dumb.

@@danielnovitadubin8272 Agree there are some instances where the pilot's actions caused their death e.g. in KLM 433 ultimately if the captain had worn his shoulder harness he would have survived, but that doesn't mean their actions warranted death.
