"This Is Just SHOCKING And BEWILDERING!" - Home Office Loses Thousands Of Migrants Set For Rwanda

- Asylum seekers who have stopped reporting to the Home Office after being earmarked for deportation to Rwanda “will be found”, a Cabinet minister has said.
According to a Government document, only 2,143 out of the 5,700 people identified for removal to the East African nation “continue to report to the Home Office and can be located for detention”.
On Tuesday, Health Secretary Victoria Atkins told Sky News that the Home Office is “used to this” and law enforcement agencies have “a range of measures” to find and remove people who are not reporting as required.
She said: “We want the message to go out loud and clear that if somebody doesn’t report as they should do, they shouldn’t think that they’ll get away with it. They will be found.”
The figures come from an impact assessment of the Government’s Migration and Economic Development Partnership with Rwanda, under which the UK has agreed to pay Kigali to take asylum seekers who have crossed the Channel in small boats.
The Sun’s Trevor Kavanagh says the “big problem” with the Home Office is that they believe they are “fit for purpose.”
“It has become a sort of enabling operation for people to come into the country, welcomed them with open arms.”

The home office is an embarrassment, yet show no shame and take no responsibility or accountability for their failures, in my view.
The government wonders why so many people are suffering depression or anxiety with what is going on with immigrants, I sit on a bus going to town with half the bus full of people that don’t speak English, I am on edge the whole journey, what can we do other than arming ourselves.

If I was a migrant, having been encouraged (possibly paid) to come here and to lose my passport and any way of being identified, I'd be very nervous of becoming 'lost' at the hands of this government.

For the first time in my life (65 yrs) a few weeks ago, I felt fear that i could come across someone wielding a knife as I go about my daily life. Not a nice realization. We are too lenient. Make carrying a knife a life sentence, before you even use it. Bring in a law, going forward that you have to be registered to buy a knife or similiar. Get name and ID. Make someone accountable. Cut out the crap.

The only people who complain about stop and search are the people who have something to hide. I would welcome a police officer to stop and search me, whether it be as a pedestrian or in my car. I am law abiding and have nothing to hide. The police need to get tough on crime without the fear of mobiles being thrust in their face or being sued

Things have continously got worse over the last few decades. They visibly get worse and nothing is ever done. Government and society are miles apart. Society has become ferral and anything goes. At some point in the very near future you may have to defend yourself. Sad thing is nothing will change for the better. Governments do nothing and parents aren't allowed to do anything. I just don't see a way out.

The mental hospital failed the man who suffered from schizophrenia immediately after the parents had warned the mental health team who looked after him about the machetes and knives he was getting obsessed with a safe contigent plan risk assessment should have been implemented to monitor him and put him back on his prescribed medication. Now our beloved people died in Australia including the patient who was severely ill with the condition. I am a mother looking after my son who suffers from effective schizophrenia and am not getting the effective support which he is meant to be getting apart from the fortnight depo injection. The triggers manifested and the father reported it but they didn't support the parent until he now did such horrible thing in killing innocent people at the malls.
