Hi Dr kerski It's Amazing, thank you always for sharing knowledge, I started last year, learning about gis using ArcGis, the mooc 'Cartography' was a good start for me, since then i follow the lessons on esri website, your channel and different websites, and i enroll in any mooc to get free license 😁 and learn Even here in Algeria they don't use it much , i hope this would change in the future
You NEED TO SAY THAT TO government, local and regional authorities in portugal that NEVER GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO ME AS A URBAN-HUMAN-GEOGRAPHER in 19 years for a JOB! STILL UNEMPLOYMENT AS A GEOGRAPHER! In portugal a REALLY GEOGRAPHER AND A WOMAN AS NO CHANCE AT ALL TO WORK IN THE FIELD that we STUDY in university! WE WOMEN-GEOGRAPHER DON'T have the SAME OPPORTUNITIES AS women-engineering or women-architect! SAY THAT TO primer-minister António Costa and anothers before him! I forget ONE IMPORTANTE THING:SAY THAT TO António guterres from ONU, BECAUSE MY UNEMPLOYMENT started with him as primer-minister of portugal! WE GEOGRAPHER ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN THIS ERA OF CLIMATE CHANGE BUT UNFORTUNATELY ARE FORGETTEN IN A SCARY UNhealthy UNEMPLOYMENT-ALMOST ADULT IN portugal! THAT HURTS SO MUCH THAT NO ONE IMAGINES IS A TRAUME FOR ME!
Sir this video about saving the earth is extremely vague, and just because you spend time in the field and in classrooms does not mean that you are saving the earth. Awareness raising is important and however you may contribute to that I recognize. If you want people to be interested in Geography you got to make it less vague. It seems like an intellectual idea that got a word attached to it that people now use as a scapegoat for a profession.
