Coast to Coast - Part 2 (Days 8 & 9)

In this video we start day 8 with a lovely offer of breakfast from Elaine before leaving the campsite. We then headed off to Colburn via the historic town of Richmond for a short 10-mile day. It wasn’t long before the rain kicked in, followed by thunder and lightning storm just as were pitching our tents under trees, not ideal. Look out for my reaction when in my tent.
Day 9 was a 20-mile day (mostly flat) from Colburn to Ingleby Arncliffe, it was a case of hiking from one pub beer garden to another pub beer garden. I think there is a theme developing here! The day stayed dry, but our feet didn’t as it was an absolute mud fest, I have never seen so much mud on a trail.
