A sudden dip in Indian markets has triggered speculation about the results of India's ongoing general elections. Though the markets were expecting a third term for prime minister Narendra Modi and his BJP, the low voter turnout in the first four phases has unsettled many poll watchers and experts. Markets generally prefer policy continuity and political stability over uncertain electoral outcomes. Home minister Amit Shah and External Affairs minister S Jaishankar have tried to downplay the fears, saying the markets will rebound closer to the election results. The home minister also asked investors to buy shares before June 4, when the results will be announced. Is election uncertainty fuelling the market slide? They're not half as expensive as you think and know the markets way better especially if you plan to invest in other stock markets like the US or Canadian market. Goodluck.

Now I am worried a bit. I actively follow current affairs. I hope this democracy vs dictatorship propoganda don't lead Rahul G becoming PM. As I know before bjp, India was known for missing big opportunity and tolerating terrorism. India need a smart people to govern which, in my opinion, BJP has in abundance.
