Emmerdale plane crash disaster 1993, inc Demdyke Row demolition behind scenes footage

In 1993, YTV hired us to create a disaster scene on a row of terraced houses in Esholt (Emmerdale) village. A plane had apparently crshed onto the village, resulting in many casualties. We had just 2 days to build the scene, which included importing over 120 tons of stone, rubble and other demolition materials, inc a jet undercarriage. On the 3rd day, we were invited to watch the filming, and treated to lunch along with the stars in their hospitality caravans. We were even seconded as (unpaid) filmstars as extras to make up the crowd.The 4th day saw us clearing away the site and leaving clean and tidy. All in all, a very interesting project
