You have truly out did yourselves. I use of the second floor as it relates to the scale of the kitchen and other areas. I really appreciate seeing it completed with furniture. The space was portionately well used.
I have watched this vid so many times. I've always had an idea in my head of what would be my perfect house, this is it. Layout is sensational. I would make very small changes like a firemans pole from loft to ground and a couple of other ideas but this is just perfect. Well done to all involved.
“Fireman’s Pole” is what it’ll say in the listing some day.

I know who's building my home when I'm ready. This was an great design and build.
Have to say this Cowboy Condo turned out better than Excellent. The attention to detail you and your guys use can not go unnoticed. It truly sets you guys apart. I was able to watch the first video where you were putting the cables in for the stair railing and how you use your own technique because the actual pre-made cable system was too expensive. I know these are all custom made and your clients are picking and choosing distinctive items but I have (2) questions I would like answered if you could. (1) I'm looking into building steel homes here in Central Florida, mainly because our lower-income housing inventory is extremely depleted. Nothing fancy just well built and low-cost upkeep. (2) knowing the difference in climate from Texas to Florida, what gauge of steel and what would you recommend as far as insulation would you use if you were building in Florida vs. Texas. Okay so here is the one you won't answer, what is the average cost per sq ft on some of your builds? Keep Doing What You're Doing, and Keep the Videos Coming Also. Your work is Top Notch!

Gorgeous in design, construction, and finishings.
One suggestion...leave more elbow room on the wall side of each double sink vanity. I hate banging elbows into the wall or towel rack when using a sink.

I am guessing this is going to be a hunting lodge where they bring lots of people with with them to hunt. If it was beds like that in an everyday house, yes would be strange. For an everyday house I was thinking another living room with pool table and such.
This is cowboy country palace. A true western outdoorsy home. Love that fireplace and the kitchen, holy moly- bring on the guacamole! Nice work Erik.

Love this but gosh is it huge. I love the kitchen, living room/den area, dining area open floor plan. Wish you were in Arkansas bc I’d consider this as an option!

I did a bathroom wall with a near exact same 3-dimensional heavily textured tile like you show here for a customer. It looks absolutely fantastic! ...But it is an absolute NIGHTMARE to keep clean. You can't even begin to imagine how much crap each one of those tiny ledges will collect. Take my advice: Don't ever do this to your bathroom wall. I speak from experience! --- but it looks great, doesn't it?

I've only just recently discovered your videos (and their innovative structures). They are amazing spaces.
I do realize that any reasonable customizations could be done on any build , but I am curious to see that of all the existing homes I've viewed date, only 1 has had a bathtub (in a guest bathroom).
I personally loath showers (except to cool down in the most unbearably hot weather) so that would be the 1st adjustment I'd make. Out of curiosity however, don't Texans bathe?

When you can afford a place this big, hearing and cooling bills are no problem.

Do you guys build outside of Texas? My favorite I’ve seen so far
Their website says $130/sqft for basic interior. This video says roughly 3900sqft with first and second floor, not including the attic so that’s $507,000.
The garage space is 1400sqft at $50 a foot so $70,000.
And the porches are roughly 1400 sqft at $42 a foot so $58,800.
Grand total for the BASIC build not including attic, patio, or covered exterior areas = $635,800. Expensive but that’s a MASSIVE HOUSE.

Awesome! I this is close to my dream house. I’d just be looking for a variation where the kitchen opened to the outside to support outdoor cooking, grilling, pit bbq, and meat smoking along with less “interior” finish and more “shop”. But that’s just me.
