Giving My 3rd Generation TOYOTA TACOMA A DRASTIC NEW LOOK! + GIVEAWAY!

- Installing the coolest protection for the front of my 3RD generation toyota tacoma!! Today's video is brought to you by Tacoma Beast! I just got in the Hybrid series front bumper, powder coated and made of steel! What a cool new mod for the tacoma and it weights about half as much as the traditional full front bumpers. I like this option because it still gives you the durability along with being able to mount a winch, light bar and other accessories! In the future I can also add the size pieces to give a little more clearance in front of the tires and still not have a bulky looking front end. With the tacoma being a mid size truck, it doesn't need a huge front bumper, so this is a perfect way to make the truck look close to factory, but have better capabilities for offroad use! Also don't forget to subscribe to us on CZcams along with Tacoma Beast and comment below for your chance to win the tow strap and D hooks!
As far as the installation process goes for this, it really isn't too difficult. After taking off the bumper cover and the crash bar, I had to take the bumper half off in order to remove the crash bar. From there it was time to cut the bumper, so you only have to cut the top portion and not just the bottom piece like I thought. After a lot of measuring I luckily only had to cut the stock bumper once! With the trim piece on, it was time to fit the hybrid series front bumper and we had really good fitment! This is one modification that is not going back to stock, but it has way more functions then the plastic stock piece, so I am ok with that and it looks very cool!!

Thank you everyone for the comments! It was awesome to see what builds you have going on and what you would use the strap and hooks for! I have picked a winner and the update video for that will be going up tomorrow! We will be doing giveaways more because it was awesome to interact with all of you so stay tuned for that! We might have to do another strap and hook giveaway since it was so popular!!
Where did you get the liner after you cut the bumper?
@@keithtorres4429 It actually came with the bumper! But you can pick up "door edge guard" from any auto parts store!
I have a 2020 voodoo blue tacoma and plan on buying this exact bumper. Anyways, what tool was that called that you used to cut the plastic? Any advice on it, would you have measured it differently? We’re there directions/prints telling you where to exactly cut?
@@coltrockwell5467 That was an oscillating multi-tool that I have, worked great on plastic. The kit did come with instructions to follow and it went perfect, I would do it this way again!
you guys need to start wearing safety glasses specially if you're cutting or drilling w/ a power tool. your eyes are irreplaceable
dude, I watched a couple of videos of people cutting their bumpers and man your cutting tool was by far the smoothest cut, nice job guys !!!
Thanks 👍 Luckily I got it right the first time and it worked great for this job!
i just did mine this past weekend with the light bar and a Rough Country 9500lb winch with synthetic cable. Your video was a huge help. i changed the order a bit and it required less disassembly - i marked and trimmed the opening after removing the black center piece and before removing the crash bar and the crash bar came right out without having to remove all the bumper shroud fasteners
Ahh nice! Glad I could make it easier for you! Doing it for the first time you learn some things that could have been different, but aside from that, it was too bad of a job and looks way nicer then the useless plastic!
@pagg30, I'm thinking of getting that exact setup. How do you access the winches plug for the controller and the manual lock and unlock handle for the cable?
@@gonzalezj2 sorry man i just saw this. i got the cable extender and mounted the connector on a bracket inside the headlight assy where i have a light bar behind the grill. I also fabricated an extension for the winch clutch release so you can free spool the line out. I used maybe 10" of 3/8 stainless tubing- and then put the knob on top and made a bracket to secure it. Both are under the hood but you wont have to reach down if you're stuck.
Man you did a great job on cutting the Bumper. I would use the D-Rings and Strap to help pull out anyone who is not in a Toyota that is stuck, because we all know that if you own a Toyota you will not get stuck. Lol
Haha oh yeah!
Getting an off-road once I get back from deployment, been watching your vids! Love the content guys keep it up!
Thanks for your service!! You'll love a Tacoma!
Thanks for your service mate. Come home in one piece.
Thanks for your service. Hopefully you can chose a nice off road vehicle
Same her bro...just a couple of more months....did you ever get you Taco???
@@shaiq-nbaiq1826 I did! I’ve had mine since January!
Off Road Adaptive Cycling ... Dude, I'm installing my own this weekend... time to measure 1k times & cut once. Keep it rolling
Very nice clean installation, well done. I installed the same style front bumper so I could add a winch (at the same time). One minor note, leaving that D ring on the front is not the best idea. First it will scratch up the bumper and second its a magnet for a thief. I leave mine in my winch bag. Keep up the good work.
That's a good point, I thought about how easy they are to take off, anyone could do that!
tack welds fix that
Hi guys, my name is Hugo Dominguez, from Veracruz Mexico, I have seen many of his videos, but this time, the Taco was, great, looks perfect, rough, indestructible, congratulations. I have a Taco TRD SPORT 2016, hell orange, it is the best medium-sized pick up. Greetings and keep making these videos !!!
Hugo Dominguez Guerrero Glad you liked the vid!!
Great video,I just bought a2022 sr5 and going to purchase the same bumper , first Toyota truck very excited about the build thanks again,Bill
Thanks for this video. I’ve probably watched this 6 times. I installed the same bumper today and used your video as a tutorial and tweaked a few steps.
Great to hear! What did you have to tweak!?
Can you get away with out cutting the bottom part of the bumper?
Just put this bumper on last weekend and I got a chance to us my bumper and tow strap. Had to pull and Jeep out of the mud that couldn’t hang with my Tacoma. Thank you Tacoma beast for a really good bumper and strap. Thanks to bro four speed for your amazing video. Keep the channel going strong
Thanks for the comment, cool to see you having to use it already!
Any idea what kind of winch you are going to run. Cause I been looking around and just can’t make my mind up.
I haven't started researching that yet, so I'm not sure. I've seen a lot to choose from though!
Alright sound good let me know if you find any good recommendations
Hello, love your videos has been a great help for my mods on my Taco 2020.
Just quick question, where did you get those relocations brackets for the power stearing cooler hard lines? where can I get them?
Thanks!!
Glad you have been enjoying the videos! They came with the bumper! I'm not sure where you would get them aftermarket, but if you got a similar bumper, it should come with those as part of the install!
Just a couple comments, not trying to be a hater. I really enjoy the content. A couple things I’d recommend. 1. Put the light bar somewhere more functional. You paid a good amount of money for it, might as well put it somewhere that will throw light, not block it. And 2. Should have put a winch in there while it was all off. I know you are gonna put a winch on that truck...keep up the content. I got an 06 Tacoma I’m building out. Fun stuff man.
The light bar is actually unaffected, I use it quite often and there's no interference from the bumper! And yea it would have been easier with the winch, but I'm still not sure about getting one yet, but maybe! And that sounds like a fun project on your build!
2019 quicksand trd offroad in TN here! Slow overland build that's going to take me and my fiance on a cross country honeymoon in 2020! We could definately use some towstrap support! Keep up the great vids guys!
That’s awesome!
Ive got a 2017 Chevy Colorado and I could use them for pulling people outta the snow. I also just got a 1994 Jeep Cherokee project last week that the tow strap and D-rings would be perfect for!
Thanks for all the great content. The new bumper on the Taco looks GREAT!
Thanks for the comment!! The jeep sounds like a fun project!
thanks for the bumper information. I just got a 21 Tacoma TRD OR Army Green
Very cool, congrats!!! The Tacoma is a fun truck and there are so many things you can do to it!
Very nice! I like you did in front of the number. That’s my next project of course I need to saved up first but thank you.
Glad it was helpful! And you will like it once you get it! So much nicer than the plastic!
Shout out to your dog ...great helper
Thanks 👍 She loves helping!
Do you have drive assist sensors in front? And if so, did you have to move them? And if so can you make a short vid on how to do that?
No my truck doesn’t have any tech packages…but I do know that some bumpers are designed Tacomas with that and it should be an easy swap over to the new bumper.
Might have to get one for my 3rd gen. Looking forward to this summer. It will be our first:)...
Nice!
ordered my BA bumper today, thank you very much for this video i will be using it as my guideline when my time to install is ready...
Awesome man!! Glad the vid helped. I've been super happy with this bumper!
I work on the pipelines and we drive alot in the mud lol that’s most of the off-road I do but we are going to Lake Tahoe this year off-roading
Very cool! I'm sure those trails will be awesome! I'd love to go on an out west overlanding adventure one day!
I’m amazed at how the transformation. Absolutely looks cool! I’m going to this type of install. Wish me luck!
You can do it! It's not too crazy of an install! Definitely is worth it on the Tacoma since there was just plastic there!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed wow. I can’t believe you responded!! Your videos are amazing.... Thank you for the vids and the inspiration. Your fan from Texas!
Noce job and quite ballsy cutting. I'm to much of CS to do that myself. Nevertheless appreciate the admonition of not needing to cut the center piece of the number. One recommendation (teasing), is after your first cut when you had the ear protection on, you started speaking louder. It was funny. Seriously though, love what you've done to the Tacoma!
Glad you liked it! It was a fun project and I actually have the side pieces coming for the bumper soon, so more cutting coming soon!
Here in California we don't get snow. Only in the mountains and I don't own any recovery gear. I have friends with 2WD tacomas and would be awesome to definitely get them out of certain spots.
Cool!
Hey!
I know it's been 3 years, but I plan on getting this EXACT same bumper. Any rust/issues over time? Do you still recommend it?
I didn’t have any issues with it! I liked it till I went with a high clearance setup! But definitely a good style for sure!
Thanks for the tutorial. I just got the bumper installed but now I want to add an LED bar for that open space on the metal bumper. Do you think I would have to remove the bumper entirely to install it or can I just remove the grill?
You should just be able to remove the grill, but depending on the mounting location, might have to take the bumper off. Try it first with just taking the grill out and if needed, the bumper will come out. But it's easy to take on and off after all that trimming and install!
Does the top tube of the bumper interferes with the TSS sensor?
Also how tall is the top tube from the top portion of the actual bumper? I want to see how high does the tube comes in relation with the sensor
Thanks for sharing, this is a nice install. Where did you get the protective rubber strip to cover up the edge (video at 9:02). Is that part of the kit?
That came with it! There was plenty to use which was nice to see with it! Not a bad install and makes it now functional for a winch and all that!
What fender flares did you install? Do you like them...they look good!
I got those from amazon and honestly never liked them, quickly put the stocks back on because of how bulky they were for a small truck! czcams.com/video/GlR9Yomwfzw/video.html
That makes your truck look a lot better!
Thanks!!
I have a 2019 Tacoma trd off road, cement grey that they will go on!

I have a 2018 white trd off road

2007 Tundra TRD O/R! I'm about to build a Pre Runner bumper so they would look perfect on it! Love the videos!
Oh nice! It would be cool to build a bumper!
Looks really good,
I just made up my Mind, I’m definitely going with this bumper for my 2018 Tacoma
Good choice! I should have the "stage 2" pieces coming soon to install! Can't wait to add those to this bumper!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed What do you mean about Stage 2? I have this bumper ( and used this install video...thank you very much) and I am very interested!
@@whytknight They extend underneath the fog lights so I'll be trimming the bottom off on the sides to the fender flares. If you look up the hiline bumper stage 2, you'll see those pieces!
I am a new to me 13 mgm access cab tacoma owner. I am liking the bumper and could definetly use the tow hooks and strap cause i live in a snowy area. so i would use both to pull people stuck in situations they cant get out of, but i am looking to do inside mods first.
This would be a great first mod!
Looks great! I believe you are supposed to pull the plastic bumper over those tabs on the sides to make it look a little cleaner. Also should prevent the plastic bumper from flexing from the wind while driving since it isn't reinforced all the way across anymore.
There's no way for the rest of the bumper to extend over the tabs on the bumper itself if that what you are talking about. They sit pretty flush the way it sits! I haven't had any issues with this setup, still have it on!
I was thinking the same thing. Lol. Glad it works the way you did it.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed The tabs actually do go on the inside. It was a pain to get them in for myself but if you are happy with it, that’s all that matters
Blue color D-rings will look great on your truck. Use rubber washer and zip tie so they don't rattle.
That would look pretty cool!
I would be putting the tow equipment to use on my 2018 Trd pro Tacoma to help people get out of ditches in the smoking mountains. Keep up the great work guys!
Oh nice!
That’s actually a Body Armor front bumper with a great install video by the girl from Extreme Terrain.
It is a body armor bumper and that's cool!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I’m going with the same bumper,
@@mkbmj I like it! I am changing mine out soon though, just waiting on it to arrive. If you have any interest in mine send me a message on IG!
I have purchased the TacomaBeast - BA HiLine bumper but waiting on some warm weather for the installation. From the video, it wasn't super clear whether you MUST partially uninstall the plastic fender AND the front grille. any guidance would be helpful
I had to remove the grill to remove the passenger side of the bumper partially. That gave me the clearance needed to remove the crash bar, otherwise I would not have got that out.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Got the hi-line installed. I removed the grille but cut the crash bar bracket so I could leave the bumper in place. I did the installation alone.
@@seanmclendon8229 Hopefully it went smoothly!
16 picking up (hopefully) a blue 2020 tacoma as a first vehicle.. got some friends that are definitely gonna need a tow out of those mud pits that we gout out here in texas! love the vids.. yall are definitely some big inspiration on what im planning on doing with my tacoma
Cool videos guys, just got a 2019 TRD Off Road and plan to start with running boards. any suggestions?Thank you and keep"em comin"
I love my rock sliders, they double as a running board sort of, I can use it as a step, but if you are just interested in the actual running boards, n fab makes some good ones, my dad has those on his 4runner.
Is it heavy enough that ill need larger shocker ,to support it.or is stock good enough??
No, I think you would be fine. I believe it was 70 pounds or so, but I already had the lift so not sure how stock suspension would react to it.
Used for a 2020 tacoma trd off-road. Camping and hunting, with some off-roading. Great video!
Thanks!
Love that bumper... I plan on using that tow strap, etc. to anchor my ‘Trump Baby balloon’ during the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena
Very cool!
I was on your "reveal" yesterday and just got into your install vid just now. Would love to be entered into the contest for the tow straps as I go with my jeep friends in the SoCal area quite often and they always come in handy. I'm in a 2005 TRD that refuses to retire... which is fine by me :)
Rob Ferencik Nice man! Tacoma’s last forever 🙌🏼
The dog is more excited that you.
Lol, I’m excited but you can’t beat a dogs, they are always happy!
It looks great! I may be looking further into this bumper, as it checks all the boxes that I need in a front bumper
Brian Sliman I’m super happy with it. Looks awesome! And has function!
It would look good on my 20 16 4x4 TRD Sport
Just bought a 2020 Tacoma TRD off road about a month ago, your vids helped me choose the truck lol. Looking to get out soon and see what the truck can do, would be awesome to have these!
medardo210 Very Nice! Congrats on the purchase 🙌🏼
Where can I get the black trimming you used after cutting the bumper? Can't seem to find it and don't know the exact product name.
That actually came with the bumper! But it should be similar to door edge guard that you can find at a hardware store as well or on amazon!
Thanks for the reply
What’s the cooler thing you guys relocated
The radiator, which is a cooler lol
Quick question I see the same one on eBay that says for 2016-2021 Tacoma would that fit my 2021 Tacoma?
I would assume so if it states it'll fit a 2021. All the third gen tacomas should be the same from 2016 to the newer models. I can't say for sure, but sounds like it would.
Are you able to put a license plate on the bumper? It looks like you can. VA requires a front plate.
Yup! This bumper came with a bracket for a front license plate! So you're all set!
Very enjoyable to watch your videos, very informative.
Looks great!
Aloha
Thank you so much! That was a fun project for sure!! I have a new high clearance bumper now so even more cutting :)
Ok so I just bought a normal sr tacoma and I wanted to replace the bumper. But I don't have space to work on it like that. What kind of place would I take the truck to have it done?
Check to see if there is a local truck accessory shop, one that works on lift kits, wheels/tires, and mods like that! I've done work to my truck in apartment parking spaces before lol, so if you have a spot like that it could work too!
I know you have Diode Dynamics 30” LED bar installed so my question how did it fit especially the bracket of the LED bar once the body armor bumper is installed? I’m eyeing on this bumper and I have diode dynamics 30” LED bar?
Yea I have no issues, the bumper didn't affect the light at all, those brackets for the light bar attach on the crash bar, where this bumper also attaches, but fits great. It's a little funky to assemble them both at the same time, but it works!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks man I’ve been planning buying the BA bumper but you’re the only I’ve seen with DD 30” led bar
@@raymondmunoz1457 Glad I could help! Just have to make sure the light is angled down to see through the bull bar, but it works too!
it does look nice, but i just wish that the bumper replacement manufacturers would make their products so that you DONT have to cut anything from your stock bumpers. That way later on down the road, if you sold the vehicle, and wanted to put it back to stock, you could.
I could see that! There's one bumper I know of that requires one small cut underneath so you could put it back to stock! But when I sell this truck, I'll leave what I can't take off and hopefully get a little more for the mods it has!
2017 silver tacoma trd offroad will put those in use
Cool!
@BrosFOURRSpeed I have a RC light bar, similar to the light bar you have. Does the bull bar part on the bumper interfere with light output? I've wanted to install this bumper, but have not pulled the trigger yet, because of the hidden light bar that I installed. Thanks for the vids. Great work.
I don't think it blocks all of it, I have noticed that I might need to make an adjustment maybe angle the light slightly down so it doesn't reflect off the bar, but I don't mind how it is now.
Just picked up this bumper any tips on what type of trim to use and the size of the oscillating tool?
So the edge trim piece came with my bumper, but you can find normal "door edge guard" that's maybe 1/8-1/4 inch, just enough to cover the edge of course. And I don't remember the size of the adaptor on the oscillating tool, but if you already have one, Im sure it can work with the size you have. But the one I had was probably 1/2 wide if that helps!
With the power steering cooler how did you get it on? I don’t want to pinch the pipes
Coolest Tacoma I have ever seen
I appreciate that! It's come a long way over the last 3 years! I still have more plans for it!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I can’t wait to see the future plans
What is the strip insert call after you are done cutting out the middle bumper to make it flush and clean?
The edge guard trim stuff?
Yes! Thank you.
@@kouyang1125 No problem!
It looks amazing bro. I have a 2016 off-road that would look very nice on the truck. Happy for your new bull bar
Thanks 👍 It's a sweet mod for sure!
Looks real good! I had to remove a lot more than that when I replaced my full front bumper. If it isn’t steel it isn’t real. I’ll be using that gear wheeling in the Pine Barrens and CO.
Sounds like some good places to go!
Or steel..
2019 TRD Pro, use them for recovery in the bush of course!!
Bumper looks good, now you just need to complete the bumper and weld on the sides!!
Hopefully I can add those soon!
Was it easy to install the light bar and winch after putting the bumper on? Or would I be better off buying and installing them all at once. Thanks
I had the light bar before the bumper, and if I added a winch I'd have to take the bumper off to install it onto the bumper.
Looks really good and good job! Does the new bumper block the hidden light bar in the grill?
Thanks! I love the bumper! The LED bar actually shines right under the bull bar. So it fit perfect!
Once you add the winch and light bar to the bumper how do you manually turn the handle on the winch to free the spool ?!?!?
I think it's depend on what brand of winch you install. The winches I've used are all electronic. So you just use the controller to do everything
@@BrosFOURRSpeed really? Every winch I’ve had has a lever or knob to manually disengage the drum to pull the rope out.......I’ve never seen that feature located on the controller. What kind of winch do you have?
I don't currently have a winch. But I've used one on a Jeep I had at my previous dealer that was all electronic. Worked very well
Where did you get the blue toyota grill?? Thank you..
I got the grill from BP Fabricating, the letters come black, but I wrapped them to match!
I will be installing these on a 2019 TACOMA TRD OFF-ROAD DCSB (MT)
Thanks ,
if i am not installing a winch, do i have to do the line relocation with the provided relocation brackets? can i cut the bumper first before removing crash bar? if i mark it like you did i should be ok?
The crash bar has to be removed for the bumper, so even without a winch you have to do that. The line relocation would still have to be done to clear the bumper too.
I really like the bumper. Install looks fun (?). I had my 2020 Tacoma 2 weeks when I hit aa deer. $4500 damage to plastic parts. I’m debating between this and a bull bar.
Oh dang! That's seems like a lot for damage, but this bumper wasn't too bad of an install. Just making sure the measurements are correct before the cut, and it's not bad! Give you a lot of protection for sure!
We're almost twins besides the fact that i have a topper and my taco is a long bed. It's been great seeing your truck and the build journey. I was planning on getting the same bumper too so that's what i would use the accessories for.
Oh very cool! I don't see too many blues around!
It should be possible to have all this trim cut in one piece.
Then if wanna go back to stock, just buy and spray the new piece and re install that black trim piece into newly painted bumper piece .
There are some bumpers that can go back to stock, but with the cutting on this bumper, it won't go back to stock with whatI had to remove.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I wouldn't go back to stock at all. This function much better.
@@useryggfdcc I agree, I love it a lot more!
2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Super white will go great with the white and black I have going on!
I have a 2020 tacoma and am trying to build it up for offroad adventures in Washington
Hey does the black trim that you attach to where you cut come with the Body Armor highline kit? or do you have to get that separetly?
Are there any performance issues with your light bar with this bumper? I hAve a lightbar in the same location. Does the Bull bar cover up the light?
Nope! The opening between the bumper and bull bar is perfect for the light to shine right through. Literally the perfect fit!
do i have to put the bolt back thats in the passenger sides front tire ?
Can you time stamp exactly what you are talking about? Lots of bolts lol!
one these day I will put that front bumper on my 2021 tacoma trd offroad.

I have a 2019 Tacoma 4x4 sport! Getting ready to take this guy off roading!!
Add some Rugged Ridge D-Ring Isolators to stop any rattling if you keep the D-rings mounted.
What was that plastic strip you put on to the freshly cut bumper? I'm ordering a similar unit and that was a nice touch to keep lines clean.
Just door edge guard. Any auto store should have a roll
What's the lightbar you've got installed in the vent slots below the Toyota grille and was it a bitch to install? Also, did that trim come with the bumper? It looks like quality door edge trimming. I've watched a lot of 3rd party bumper installs on YT and I've noticed a lot of them come with crappy weatherstripping that look sloppy and also prone to drying out and cracking.
Here’s the light bar video! czcams.com/video/b6RDnBSEdWw/video.html
And it came with the weather strip. You can also buy some that’s the same quality but it’s nice when kits come with it ready to go!
If Maddie had opposable thumbs, she could put this on. I think you might have been able to take the aluminum crash bar off as one pice. There is a very similar bumper from C4Fab and in their youtube video, the removal process is a little different, but still very easy. Great vid guys.
Haha I'd love to see her help a little more :) Those black bars off the crash bar made it hard to move with the bumper on though.
Does the bar block your light bar in the grill?
If it's angled too high up yes, but with it angled correctly it works fine!
Any rust issues now?
Haven't had any! Powder coating does a great job at preventing that.
How does it work with the light bar in the bumper?
Works perfect. Light bar is located in between the bumper and bull bar
I’ve got a 2017 sr5 Tacoma. My plan is to help people on my road out of the ditch as it doesn’t get plowed in the winter.
That sounds good!
2016 TRD Sport.
Did you glue that black trim piece onto the original bumper?
No, it was pretty tough to wrap around the edge so it has little groves in it or something to hold it in place.
That’s exactly the the bumper I would get for my tacoma thanks for making the video on how to put it on
I love it so far!!
Impressive work guys … we’re u get that bumper can send me link looks awesome
That link is in the description of the video!
Bumper looks great. Picked up a 2020 trd pro a month ago, looking for ideas.
Awesome to see you install it and i get to see how much ill have to cut. I just did some Snow wheeling today with my 17 taco. Winter Minnesota!!
kyle vitti Very Nice! I bet that was fun!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed oh yea only had my taco for about a month went to my hunting land roughly 8 to 10 inchs of snow
If you were to put a winch on it would you have to take the whole thing back off or can you wiggle it in once you take the grille off
Most likely I'd have to take it off, to bolt it on right, but we'll see!
How much protection does a low profile bumper like this offer in a situation like a traffic accident? I am toying with the idea of doing a bumper on mine at some point but I don’t want to spend a ton of money and I don’t do anything very serious when it comes to off roading
It'll actually do a lot! I I ever bumped into someone, it would just scuff the powedercoating. The stock plastic bumper cover would crack. So this doubles as a strong bumper and a strong bumper cover.
I'm looking at this bumper for my 17 Tacoma. I am only planning on overlanding with my truck. Keeping my Xterra for trails.
David Ryde Oh very cool!
That looks great. Nice job! Will be installing them on my 4Runner and carry it with me when I need to pull friends out lol.
KillaBandit Thanks! I’m loving it!
The bumper has been installed roughly 2.5 years at this point. Can you make a follow up video to give your impression now that you've had it for a couple years? Interested in specifically knowing how the radiator is holding up due to it being more vulnerable to potential road debris damage because of the new bumper. Also, how is the bumper coating holding up to the elements? Any rust? Fading? Cracking? Fitment issues? Has it proven itself in a real world test of its ability to use tow straps and not just look pretty? Good video.
I recently upgraded to a new full size bumper, but in the time I had this bumper there were zero problems! I don't see what you mean by more vulnerable to debris? I had a front tag covering that opening, but even if I didn't I wouldn't worry about that, but that's just me. My radiator has zero damage from anything! The coating has held up just fine! My new bumper is powder coated as well and it'll last a long time! I didn't have any problems with this bumper and I didn't use the tow hooks but I have on my new bumper and they are all the same!
